@ Chickie, first I MUST tell you how excited I was when your Fam got PPR was jumping like I won the lotto.

My husband is the sponsor. Ordered notes last month, my Med was done in Feb. 2013 however on my notes it said Med Validity April 2014 so a bit confused as to whether it was extended.

Received request for PC redo last week and went in Process three days later.
and thank you for being excited for me.....the shock is finally starting to wear off now! It is more relief now, knowing we are almost there!

have you put the pc in yet? Mrs Brown put her PC to kingston and 2 days later they called her for her hubby's passport.

I did the one day express on Monday and they should receive both PC this afternoon. Was hoping the same thing that happened for Mrs. Brown would happen for me as our App are 1 day apart and we have the same VO.

Hi all... Josephine here writing from Jamaica, enjoying time with my hubby and the warm weather. I ran into COCoVanilla at the MO Bay Airport, and another woman came up to me in the Canadian Embassy and asked if I was Josephine,. although I don't know who that was. Just wanted to let you know, we submitted the passport in person at the embassy on March 18, 2014 along with my airline ticket. Kingston said they "will do the best they can" to get hubby home with me on April 1, 2014......... here's HOPING FOR THE BEST!

Hello everyone. I think this may appear as if I am responding to a post but didn't see any other option to post. Have lurked for 1.5 years so feel like I know you guys, especially 2012 applicants.

Is it possible to get PPR twelve days before Med. expire? Anyone with the experience...It would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, HOAO!!!!

PPR can be requested at any time but they wouldn't give you only 12 days to land because your medical has to be valid. Since KG has requested a new police certificate they have more than likely extended your medical. :D

Thank you Nevaeha! I realize that it's highly unlikely they would request PP with only 12 days before Med expire and since they contacted me after it would have expired and not request a redo then yes I think so too.

from what I understand about filing in Canada.....it is basically the same as ours, you will get your sponsor approval but the file still has to go to Kingston to be processed there as that is his citizenship country. And yes you can always appeal but no negativity remember....everything will work out! :)

thank you!! yes thinking positive, some days definately harder than others, but best positive is he is here with our family- still a struggle no matter what ~ dealing with immigration for sure! I was so confused as to why it went to Kingston as I was told it does not if it is an inland. This forum has definately helped me no matter what the application is (inland or outland) all the success stories and words of encouragement help myself and I am sure many others as well! So again, thank you all for all your help and positive words- to everyone-
