Good Morning... Confused I will join you this morning... Wha gwan!

Since you are having an interview I would take all the added proof to the interview with you. Keep piling all the information together and then when its your interview time just hand the whole stinkin package and say yea.... here you are... additional proof!

Do you think you are having an interview based on your situation? or because they dont think it is genuine? do you have any suspicions?

Also about the RCMP with regards to both Glogirl and Confused- I get so confused with that. Some parts of the website state that each embassy will conduct their own canadian rcmp check and then some parts say that you dont need to send an RCMP check but if the embassy wants one they will ask you to do it. Why not just make it standard procedure either way.... either do all RCMP checks your own or make all PR applicants who have resided in Canada for more than 6 consecutive months do a RCMP check this way it doesnt take months for them to finally contact you to request it.

Ah well.... so this process stay...

most jamaicans that i know (hubby included), enjoy the cool weather (not really the cold and finger numbing temps) but don't care for the heat much at all.. it's something they tolerate but rarely love... most of my friends on the island say they'd trade places with me when i complain about the cold (although i don't think they realize what they'd be getting themselves into :)) ... hubby loved the spring and most of the summer temps in london (about what we're getting now 18-25ish) but actually complained about the heat in the few weeks of hot summer london gets... where we were in jamaica the days were often like this (could get a bit hotter in the day, but temps were often in the teens overnight and sometimes for the day)

hubby tolerated the london winter/coldness better than i could (their cold is such a damp cold and they don't seem to believe in indoor heating like we do, so it always seems cold and damp inside too (at least where he lived, and every home/building i've been in there!)... ick!)... one thing i'll say about canada is yes, it's damn cold outside, but when you get inside, you can usually sit comfortably in a tshirt, and sleep in shorts...

unlike your hubby KC, mine hated the early mornings (esp after he got used to the later ones... but he was working nightshift sometimes, and i'm sure you can remember that it gets brighter even earlier over there, he used to complain that it was 4am and starting to get light... and dark set after 10pm which was too late for him... he'd not make a very good eskimo i'm sure! :) ) ... my kids are having a rough adjustment back to the long days.. luckily their room is very dark so i close up all the blinds at 7 and give them an hour of adjustment to the dark before bed... transition time :)

can't remember if i thanked those who wished us happy anniversary, so thanks! my wish is that you will all spend your anniversaries together (and those who have been separated for the first, may you have many many many more to celebrate together to make up for it!!!)

it's a beautiful sunny day here... temp is about 20C and rising, so i think i'm going to cuddlywrap up the baby and head out for a walk on the 60 acres we have here... need the exercise!!!!! hey to everyone, i apologize for lack of other personals, but i have the urge to move now and i'd better act on it!... hopefully the rest of this week will be a busy one!

Nae Nae ..... KC.........bless up...........confused started it but it look like the heat getting to her she is now MIA (missing in action).

Anyone hear anything new re: dudus situation in JA

Hope Some Good news coming and everyone just waiting to post something exciting!! its almost 11:00 am in Kingston.

I know they are getting ready to make some calls any minute now.... something to end the long weekend with..

my hubby hates the cold he didnt adjust very well but now he seems to be good... he still wears his tam tho but true he would wear a tam in JA. Here tho in the winter he would walk around with a snow suit on and -100 boots that come up to his knees and -50 degree mittens and he would put on layer after layer... he did not ramp with the weather man... no chance! His nose and fingers would stay cold 24/7 especially his nose... for once i saw a Jamaican not care about style... the man didnt bizness if he looked neat or not...

I think the layering of the clothes he hates the most... especially since my hubby the kinda guy who wears the same thing all week to avoid doing washing lol i have to beg him to change socks.. hush i know nasty right - but he thought it was uneccesarily dirtying clothes. But now the sun is gettig nice he will be able to wear his usual gear... slipper with short jeans and a marina and thats it! MMMMMM mmm... boy i love my man in a marina ... any man for that matter... mmm mmm!

i still nah forget the time when he washed his clothes in the bathtub and hung them to dry in -10 degrees weather... 2 days later they were still frozen but at least he put the in the bathtub again to defreeze... it was pure ice for days... whatever LOL - you live you learn.

I guess he is one of the strange ones that loves the heat - not direct sun but he loves the warm weather and to be honest I have always hated the cold - he told me that if it wasnt for me being here there would be no way ever ever ever no matter what would he live in this weather... he said even bear hybernate, trees fi dead, plant fi crawl back inna di ground, bird fly way... why the rarse we a stay here like eeediot! LOL- I wonder at times why I didnt just run off to JA - even 2 weekends ago we were debating on moving back to JA after 2 years of him living here for at least 3 years (to keep our PR's) and then when both him and me get our Canadian Citizenship that we will just stay in JA... But all this BS right now with the government and like how JA is on its worst year for murders... over 600 already! Jesum... and the latest being a 5 year old girl who got her throat slit... what the frrrrrrrrrrrrrig! Man, right now JA not stable so we need to hold off on that there plan for a min.

I have been putting in for jobs in the Caribbean from Barbados to Bermuda to Cayman Islands but no luck so far.... I am not 100 on going back to Jamaica i am 100 on living in the sun tho... I would do spain if i could speak a lick of spanish... all i know is uno cervaca pour favour (1 beer please) banos (bathroom) ola and adios (hi and by) lol... even tho there are lots of brits there!

I think the next one is june or july.. too froshed out that night to 100 hear but man you ladies and gents need to come to one with me...

yes anxious... hows the day going so far?

I know that someone mentioned something about KG being shut down yesterday because of what was going on especially with the protests and things but friends of mine say that the embassy and other places were still up and running yesterday. I know that west kingston was shut down from 3 oclock on cuz of panic and because some gun man was running around yelling hurricane fi come.. and shops locked up and everyone fled air space and kept in doors. But at least we know say that KG embassy must be open and must work... they got plenty of security up in that place.. no rarse excuse!

Unu mek mi laugh....

Missing: hold on pon di bumpa yess.........Show them the wine weh you use hold u man gal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D

Anxious: good to know i made you smile..........awwww!

Chelly: happy belated anniversary.........continue on with celebration....

KC: u & u man too mad...no man.....that was a good laugh....

Blessings everyone, blessings. :D

I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled yesterday afternoon - not too much pain today, which means the painkillers work really well. :-X

Anxious were you pinching yourself today when you woke up?!?!? Sometimes I log back into ECAS just to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.

I pray that this is a road everyone gets to travel on soon! May is the month for good news - I decree & declare it! Amen & Amen! ;)

KC approx. 600 people killed in JA not including those the police have also killed. So you know that number is closer 800. I pray all of your husbands and wives are safe. And get to Canada in safety. The only one we can count on in these uncertain times is Jesus. He never loses and never lets you down. :D

You'd think that with all this violence erupting they would expedite some of these backlogged apps. I mean it must look better on them if they cleared out those applications that are from 2007 and 2008.
