There

My last trip hubby and I were in a car accident nothing serious just the front end light got smashed. It cost me a bit of money to fix the car. We were not in the wrong this guy tried to overtake in a turning lane when we were trying to get into the turning lane. Luckily we were safe.

Wow! Glad you guys were okay! I know of people who have died in car accidents in Jamaica.

I got in one 3.5 years ago...was at a stoplight, got rearended so hard my car was pushed into the car ahead of me. Got severe whiplash that I'm still getting treated for. Was told I'd never heal properly because i waited too long to get proper treatment-I thought it'd just go away, AND I never realized that the insurance would pay for treatment until 8 months later when I went for a massage to get relief. So, be sure to get treated right away and have the bills sent to your insurance for reimbursement!

Good morning everyone!

Welcome to all of the new members and happy new years to everyone! I logged into ECAS today expecting to see the same old...you're application was received on January 24 2013 but this morning it also had "2. Medical results have been received" I know it's not decision made or anything but I was excited that someone looked at our file and updated it! Fingers crossed there's some good news soon!

Have a great weekend!

This is great news :).... Mine still says ' application revived January 23, 2013'.... Can't wait until I see something else too...

Re: Hot Topic ( Car Accidents)

I have never been in one ( Can & JA ) ... Thank God ;)... But I definitely feel nervous sometimes whenever driving with someone out there because of the SPEED, OVERTAKING, LACK OF SPACE ( road right beside a ditch/ gully ... No rail) :o

*UPDATE*

Our file is in final review so it shouldn't be much longer now.

FINALLY!!!! That is awesome!

SO...I drive in Canada...and I would not, WOULD NOT drive in Ja!

I've seen far too many accidents on the side of the street - overtaking etc. TRUCKS - huge trucks - overtaking on the small hills of St. Ann which have no railings....NAAAAA SAHHHHH!!

When taking taxi - we only take a few trusted ones (which don't drive like maniacs)...and if we HAVE to take someone who happens to drive hard...my eyes are closed and im holding on to the roof for dear life...I'm so scared of it!

I'm good with my husband's driving lol but I don't trust anyone around - thankfully no accidents in Ja
