Hey Hey My JamFam!!!

I havent really been on the forum sayin too much...but I am creepin 8) Congrats to all that are getting somewhere in this "bamboo shoots under the fingernail" process keep strong hold the faith and all will fall into place...I am planning to take a trip to JA the end of Feb..I cant keep away from the hubby any longer..its going to be tight with Lawyer fee's and then save money for a trip...guess I will be eatin bully beef and rice for a while...LOL Beautiful pics all!!! Bless you all

One more question... my police and medicals expire in January, mp's office says Kingstin told them that we should NOT redo either, unless we hear from them... what would you do? I dont want to cause any further dealy by waiting around for Kingston.

I messaged kingston about my hubby medical and police certificate also. They replied in saying that it is still in processing queue and that they will send out a medical issuance... so dnt do it untill they contact u

Missing.. They didn't give you a hard time with your medicals being done so in advance of your app? Chickie, I would be going crazy right now. Everything done, what the heck is the hold up. Right before Christmas and all. !!! Ahhh

Do you fly out of Pearson? And yes I cant wait to see him..I just need a GREAT BIG JAMAICAN style hug and amongst other things..tee hee..Things are going good though I have bought a Iphone and sent it too hubby so we can face time..that will make things a little more easier, I will be able to see his face..the only down side to that is he has to go to License to get a wifi connection...lol But it is do-able..

I think this process is basically a crap shoot.

We read stories of people hounding kingston with emails and packages who have gotten thru quickly, and stories of people (like poor chickie and nev) who have stayed quiet, waited out the process and ended up waiting for 20+ months. I know that in my case I have only ever sent them 2 emails - one in May to confirm receipt of my application and one in December to advise of changes in my family situation. My mp wrote to them once in August, and the file went back to registry on Nov 11, 2013, (before my mp contcated them again) so in my case at least I dont know that it has anything to do with punishment for bothering them.

The truth is I dont think it matters what we do, it will be processed when they want to process it, and not before.

Still hoping for good news for everyone...

Nini I do recommend putting in your RPRF fee because in my case it added another 2 months to my processing time.....pay it asap! They asked for mine in March and then asked for ARC in August...if RPRF was already paid we wouldn't have had to wait so long i would think ;(

I agree with you. I think it's simply a power trip for kingston and I'm sorry if my wording came off wrong. I was simply referring to shickie's friend's case specifically, not yours.

What is "ARC" sorry!!!

ARC=Authorization to return to Canada....since my hubby has been in Canada before and was deported he needed to pay an additional $400 to return (and add another 4 months onto our application time grrrr)

I know right....i totally thought we would get the call before xmas with everything being done but now I am thinking they probably put a 2 month bring forward date on the medicals (even though it only takes 10 days) which will take us to Jan 8th........so maybe they will make it home in time for our anniversary, who knows!

you are right in the fact that we just never know! and I don't think we ever will! I just wanted to give you an idea of why it might have gone back to registry, gosh who knows maybe they don't like your MP LMAO just kidding!

yes in my friends case it is totally a power trip! Like they are saying if you don't play our way this is what happens and it truly is sad and disgusting of our government officials.
