I was hoping to send in travel receipts, recent phone bills , letters from those who met him ( because we had a small wedding) , son's medical etc then order notes to see if they have even looked at my file ???

Sometimes......very rare cases.......applications get put back into the registry if they feel that you are trying to fast track your own application. This can be because you email too often, contact your mp too often, or re-do things before they are asked for. It is not fair but basically as I have said before, Kingston has our lives in their hands and we just have to go with the flow of how they process. There is no reason why one person's application should be completed before another's application and by trying to "fast track it" in their eyes this is wrong and you need to wait in line like everyone else. I am not 100% sure this is what has happened in this case but I do know of another person this has happened to so that is why I am able to tell of the experience.

Oh wow Chickie! I'm so glad you were able to provide some insight! So in your friend's situation it's like trying to teach them a lesson for trying to fast track it... it's crazy and off, but like you said, they have our lives in our hands, so it is what it is. We cannot push it.

I'm sorry to hear that's it's back in registry... regardless of the reason!

I mean, it's a great idea to add proof, but I believe it was actually someone on here who mentioned that adding proof while your application is happening can actually cause delays. Can someone else please chime in and let me know if I am recalling correctly? Thanks

I am also asking because I was going to send in my PRF but thinking I should wait until they ask for it?

Lol. The way I see it , since the strike slowed everything down , a few of us could be in your shoes next fall ! Chickie, your ARC is done right? Just waiting on security clearance stuff??

I missed the PR fee somehow too. Strangely I thought if they asked for it, it would be some indication that they were looking at our file . Anything for some knowledge ?? What we won't do for some communcation lol

Nini I do recommend putting in your RPRF fee because in my case it added another 2 months to my processing time.....pay it asap! They asked for mine in March and then asked for ARC in August...if RPRF was already paid we wouldn't have had to wait so long i would think ;(

Hey Hey My JamFam!!!

I havent really been on the forum sayin too much...but I am creepin 8) Congrats to all that are getting somewhere in this "bamboo shoots under the fingernail" process keep strong hold the faith and all will fall into place...I am planning to take a trip to JA the end of Feb..I cant keep away from the hubby any longer..its going to be tight with Lawyer fee's and then save money for a trip...guess I will be eatin bully beef and rice for a while...LOL Beautiful pics all!!!
