LOL sorry I fell asleep on you last night!

Well I am not sure if some of you have read on another forum post but I do have some good news. Friday afternoon hubby received our ARC letter in the mail and also a request for his police certificate update. Yesterday he went into the embassy with the bank draft and updated PC. I had to laugh at his description of the embassy "Babes, it pretty as F U C K in the embassy building. They searched me and wouldn't let me take my phone in there, I had to leave that with security. There was a white lady and a mixed lady working behind the counters and she put all my info into the computer right while i was standing there!" Just thought I would share that with you all, i just laughed at him because he sounded like a kid who just seen disneyland LOL. Hubby has another friend in JA (2012 app) that is just finishing up his app and will be heading to Canada soon too but they aren't part of the forum.

I wanted to come share with you all just so you know that Kingston definitely is still working and hopefully clearing out the 2012 so the 2013 people can get their spouses too! Keep the faith, things are going to start going crazy up in here!

Remember that was in the news before and they said that permanent wouldn't be affected, as we can all see and feel this is not the case.

I am just glad to see someone finally acknowledge the family class applications, all we have heard about the loss to tourism and loss of tuition at universities and colleges, it was a pleasant surprise to read that.

in the case in Jamaica am not sure was happening really because its mixed feels speaking to various people am really sure what they are looking really, i know other Jamaicans like myself whom i know had all the things would consider needed to receive a travel visa yet was denied at the time for not traveling before (this was the answer i got from the Canadian embassy) strange cause i was thinking you spent your life working on building yourself first in your country then was told your denied for not leaving the island lol. Later i tried another embassy and with less information given and not even filling out the forms myself ( this was done by a travel agent) i got through for others, so what are they really looking for i have no idea.

Thanks Kadi and congrats Chickie. Been following for months ( no, not a stalker ) lol. Just learning. So yes Kadi I would appreciate being added to the spreadsheet. Family, filed May 29 Mississauga outland SA July 5 by email sent to Kingston July 5 ( I hope ) meds and PC done Feb 2013 ECAS says only application received. Thanks.
