Mrs. Davis, I'm touched that you know/remembered my story, you really do know us! +1 for your sincerity!

A lot of people thought it was the 'end of the immigration road' for me in the Spring when KG extended my hubby's medical, asked us to pay the RPRF (which was paid when we applied in March 2012) and asked my hubby to get a new police certificate. I have ordered our GCMS notes several times and there isn't much in them and nothing is written by a visa officer. Talk about a mystery....and here were are...STILL waiting...the silence from KG is deafening...

I think there's a lot of us A type, control freak personalities on this thread so you're in good company. ;D

I don't know how you do it? After much study lol I was sure they extended your medical because your
time was just around the corner.. Could it be the security checks? please tell me when I'm crossing the line.
Somehow, I think I can figure this all out... lol

Here's the way I look at it, Mrs. Davis, if there is a problem with our application, is it really 'fair' of Kingston to keep us in the dark? Don't you think that after 18 months they should be obligated to tell us what is happening with our application? I paid the same amount of money as everyone else for the same service. Why should someone get better service than me and land in a shorter period of time while my hubby and I suffer with no answers from KG?

This process is B R O K E N!!!!

I couldn't agree with you more... I understand ( I think ) Arc and things like that , but
18 months is cruel and heartless. If we were given some kind of indication of process that would
help,.. but to live in the dark is unacceptable. I assumed the medical extension meant a month or two
at the most.... God Bless you and your patience... not sure I could do the same... Met my husband in
Jamaica in 2010. Went for some " fun in the sun" never expecting what I found. Fell in love with Jamaica
the first trip and met him on the third trip. Went back two to three x a yr since and we married there in 2012.
We tried for a temp visit a few years back and got denied of course.. I never wanted to uproot him from his
country and family but we desperately want to live together.... so got married in Sept. 2012 got the papers
together and filed May 2013 now... we wait and miss each other with every passing day . Please know I think
of you and the others waiting since 2012 every day

Thank you for sharing your story with us, it sounds very romantic. :D

There will always be certain circumstances that will make the process longer for some but I don't think family reunification should take longer than a year. And if it does, there should be detailed notes on ecas and in the GCMS notes so people know what is happening.

My patience was gone a long time ago...
:'(

Well... with your medical extension, I have to believe your time is soon approaching

Bless you from head to toe, Mrs. Davis. :-*

Thank you for keeping me company this evening and once again, welcome to our jam fam.

Welcome Mrs. Davis! I'm a control freak too and very impatient..... :) and we haven't even filed the papers yet!!

Good to see u again Nev. I was secretly hoping that your hubby got the PPR and u went down to Jamaica to pick him up and that's why u hadn't been posting for a while!! No such luck I guess...

Ok Kingston.... Time to send Nev her hubby. She has been very patient but now it's time. PPR by the end of this week please. We won't hold any grudges as long as you clear out all the 2012 applicants in the next 2 weeks. Is that too much to ask?
