LOL 18 months wow the time has flown! it certainly doesn't feel that long, the worst part of this is the waiting but when you think about it the wait doesn't seem that long lol kinda funny........hoping i hear back from the MP soon with something good but not holding my breathe on this one. Me and good news just don't seem to go together lately sorry pity party for myself.......i will soon be over it.


COME ON KINGSTON! Give us some good news this week! make it your goal to finish one person off our spreadsheet a week......

Hey Everyone!!

So my hubby got his medical done today and I just had a couple questions. The doctor gave him a paper to give to me I guess stating that he completed the medical? What about the results? Do they get sent directly to immigration?
We are now waiting on his police clearance. I am afraid that they will send the results to immigration and the application won't even have been submitted yet.
Will this cause a problem?
They said that his police clearance will be ready in 21 days, and then I am going down to get the paperwork and get him to fill out and sign the application.
I'm just a worry wort and want to make sure everything is in order so as not to slow down the process!

when my hubby went for his medical the dr told him it took about a month for Mississauga to get the results of the medical they will be able to match up the medical with the paper you send in with the application if Mississauga gets the medical before you send in the application.

Great so hubby just called me concerned because the Dr who performed the medical asked why he had so many tattoos, and wrote down his answers regarding the tattoos. Now he is worried that the tattoos are going to be a problem with the medical and negatively affect the application. Any others on here have hubbys with tattoos??? Did it cause any issues??

Did your husband do the medical in Montego Bay? How much did it cost? Did he have to pay for the blood tests separately? My fiance will be doing his in October so just wanted to know what the fees are these days.

my hubby isn't very techno savvy so we just use plan old LIME daily about 5 times! cost me about $20 every two weeks to top up. I call him and he doesn't answer and then just calls me right back!

Skype and phone (Digicel) which isn't the most cost effective because we talk a lot.

We e-mail, and use digicel we do the same thing I call and hang up and he calls me back, or I pay for Skype on my phone to make long distance calls.
I am heading to Jamaica today for our one year anniversary, to surprise my hubby, I will make sure to drink some rum cream for my forum family!!! I am praying for some good news for people this week!!
