We e-mail, and use digicel we do the same thing I call and hang up and he calls me back, or I pay for Skype on my phone to make long distance calls.
I am heading to Jamaica today for our one year anniversary, to surprise my hubby, I will make sure to drink some rum cream for my forum family!!! I am praying for some good news for people this week!!

LOL 18 months wow the time has flown! it certainly doesn't feel that long, the worst part of this is the waiting but when you think about it the wait doesn't seem that long lol kinda funny........hoping i hear back from the MP soon with something good but not holding my breathe on this one. Me and good news just don't seem to go together lately sorry pity party for myself.......i will soon be over it.


COME ON KINGSTON! Give us some good news this week! make it your goal to finish one person off our spreadsheet a week......

I remember the day I finally received our marriage certificate from Beaches. It was the last document we needed to send our application to Mississauga. And here we are 17.5 months later...*sigh*

I havent been around the last couple of days been home sick but feeling better today. Well the other day was 11 months since we applied and 9 months since it has been in Jamaica. Still nothing on the visiting visa. Sept 2nd is our 20 business days but its a holiday here and Jamaica. Hopefully hear some good new thisweek or early next week. I would love to say I am going to meet my hubby this weekend

Before we were married my hubby applied for a TRV and it took Kingston about 2 months to get back to him... I guess that's their version of 20 days!! I'm crossing my fingers for you!

Question what way do you all communicate with your loved ones, best and most cost effective. BBM, Facetime with iphone, skype, Tango.........?

He has a digicel international plan and calls every day, several times a day to talk to me and the kids. When we aren't talking on the phone we bbm each other like every second of the day it seems lol

Can anyone please tell me does medical received mean it is in process?
My husband sent his first medical in Feb 25, 2013. They requested additional medical information, and he went to the immigration doctor again in May. In June the status changed to Medical recieved............... what is the next step, and how long does it take?

Good morning Josephine ....meds recieved means that kingston now has your application and are either working on your app or you are in the line up to be worked on. Since you are from june applicant that means you are fairly new to the process there are people here from jan 2012 maybe even 2011 im kinda of out of date on whats been been happening. ...However each case is different so u never know based on your unique situation though I pray kingston sends your hubby to you soon .....you are in my prayers

My girl you are asking the wrong person that question! Look at my ticker below, 18 months yesterday i have been here waiting but true some have gotten through in 5-10 months. I have a more complicated situation then others, if you click on the link below my ticker, look at the spreadsheet and you will see the timelines for others going through this process. It shows when they applied, when they got passport request and landing etc.... hope that helps
