Have you noticed if people using a immigration lawyer have quicker return or it's really just a hit or miss?
and if you used a lawyer did you go with one in JA or Canada.

I don't know if this may affect the immigration paper but just an FYI: the Kingston court house has been on holidays from Aug 15th untill September 5th

A lawyer doesn't make an application go any quicker. In my opinion it's a money grab if dont need to hire one don't. A lot of knowledge people on the forum that can help you with the application for free. My husband used one just for the situation he was in but trust me he is useless I have done all the work since he submitted our application to Mississauga. Hope this helps.

It is indicated in the manuals that using an immigration lawyer or consultant does not make the processing of your application any faster.

Choosing to use or not use a lawyer or a consultant is up to each individual. Some people that have more complex cases or with serious red flags may want to hire a professional to ensure they have everything covered.

You have to do what makes you feel comfortable; however, if the only reason you would hire a lawyer or consultant is because you want a quick processing time I would save your money.

Just thought I would pop in and say "Hi"!

So as most of you know, I am 7 months pregnant with our "landing" baby lol. Being pregnant, I have some wicked dreams (which a cple have come true!). I just wanted to share my dream last night on a positive note. It was for chickie. I had a dream that your husband got a phone call from immigration. I don't know what they said to him but it made you happy and you were announcing your journey is over. In my dream I was standing next to you when your husband called you. Now seeing as we have never met before (and I've never dreamed of you before lol) it was strange to me when I woke up but I wanted to share, cuz ya just never know!!!

Good luck to all! September is coming fast and that means holidays are over, new staff have been exchanged, and Kingston can get over the summer lag.
