And some applicants have very straight forward cases with lengthy processing times for no reason(s) listed above...we've simply drawn (or rather been given) the short stick...::)
Yes. I agree nevaeha. However I'm starting to question my application. Wondering if we filled something out incorrectly. Just makes me wonder that's all.

Try not to worry too much, danielle (famous last words, I know). If KG needs clarification or further documentation they will contact you.

There really seems to be a stand still in KG; I have never seen so many people on the forum STILL waiting a year or longer to hear from them...

Hopefully many of us will go out with a bang before/by the end of the year!!!!
:D

On a happier thought.
I, just as many of you probably have also, got an email from west jet saying they have a blue tag sale.
Just putting it out there in case someone missed it :)

Your status on ecas can change any day/time of the week; some members have reported a change even on the weekend. On the flip side, your status may not change until the end of the process. It's hit and miss.

Oh ok I wasn't sure...I have been checking everyday just to see if anything changes...but then read on the CIC website that e-cas is updated usually on tuesday...so just thought I would confirm my e-cas stalking...LOL Thanks Nev ;)

I think ecas was created to try and pacify us...and don't worry, I think most of us are chronic 'users'...checking one and more times a day... :o

I have a quick question for you guys...

I just recently moved to Alberta from Ontario and Im wondering if it is necessary to tell immigration of my move. I'm not sure how long I will be out here but I do know I will wait for him before we decide to move back to Ontario. The reason I am wondering is because my hubby and my family are already close and they don't mind my hubby going to Ontario first while I get settled (if he gets the call before I settle) and then he can just make his way to Alberta. Even if I do become settled before, is it necessary to tell them? Will I have to do a bunch of paperwork again? I guess I'm a little apprehensive because I'm afraid it will slow down the process once again. :(

Rockstone I would not take any chances I would notify immigration of your move. ...better to keep open n honest communication. ....just my opinion

Gooood Morning everyone and Happy Friday. ;D
Have you noticed if people using a immigration lawyer have quicker return or it's really just a hit or miss?
and if you used a lawyer did you go with one in JA or Canada.
Blessing for everyone

I don't know if this may affect the immigration paper but just an FYI: the Kingston court house has been on holidays from Aug 15th untill September 5th

I agree with Ready's advice. You wouldn't want things held up with your application because of misrepresentation.

When I moved I updated my address online through ecas using my information and UCI #; I also sent an email to KG.
