Add in Stage 1 processing times and it's almost 2 years in total! When we applied we were waiting up to 90 days for first stage approval...

Congrats to all those who have had passports back or news of same. Also wishing the Maddants every success with their interview and final-stage immigration process. Chickie do have a fab vacation in Ja. No doubt you will. Forget the process and "let down your hair! As for the others who are waiting like myself, continue to have faith and trust that God will answer our prayers very soon so we can put this stressful process behind us and move on with our lives. God bless you all!
thank you sis..... god is not going to sell me short at all.... i do have faith in the lord....his/her timing is never wrong

Need some help quick

Wen submitting passport size pictures to Kingston are they the regular size passport pictures or should they be the specific size on cic website. I call cic and they answer confusing.
hey friend they are not the the regular size pics.... on the application guide the have a part that tell you the size of the pics the want...you just going to take some passport pic and let the cut it smaller to the size that on the application guide...i hope this help you out.

So I applied IN Canada for my hubby (who is here with me) and his girls in JA.
We were approved (AIP) April 26 and the girls file reach Kingston May 1st. A package of papers was sent to them, they need to fill out two forms (general application and additional family) and send them back along with 4 passport size photos and their birth certificates.
Some questions now:
Medicals were sent in with our application but they are a year old this month, if they wanted them redone they would of sent medical forms too right?
Is the wait really going to be 17-18 months or will it be a little faster because they are minors and dont have security checks? anyone else have a timeline for a similar situation?
Any help would be wonderful! Thank you.

They should specify the size they need on the application... it is not necessarily passport size and my best bet is make sure you following the specifications because it has to be used on your PR Card when you get through the process.

Refer to the below link.

Welcome to our forum family Kadi27!

When did you receive sponsorship approval? Chickie will add your information to the spreadsheet which is located by her ticker in her signature.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the CrAzY roller coaster ride (or boat ride) we like to call the immigration process!

We're happy to have you with us; the more the merrier!

Thanks for the welcome Nevaeha; I submitted the application January 9 and received approval Feb 12 and was told it has been submitted to Kingston.
