When sending your notes you should have the application, the consent(scanned), receipt (scanned), copy of identification (scanned)

Scan all your documents and email them into ATIP.

Its my identification they are looking for correct?

Also just to confirm atip-aiprp@cic.gc.ca this is the email?

Well u can send them emails n it takes them like 2 days to respond but nothing case specific u can give it a try do u have their email?

My identification right? :o

Yes the Canadian person submitting the application on behalf of someone else has to send a copy of their identification with it.

Good afternoon,

A friend of mine directed me to this site and told me that if i need any questions that someone here would be able to help me.

I am sponsoring my family from Jamaica. our application was approved in early January. Since then we received sponsorship approval we have not heard anything else from is this normal?

good afternoon and welcome to the site.....if you click on my link below the purple thing below then you can see the time lines of others that have gone thru or are going thru this process. Dark green means your spouse has landed and that is what we all hope to achieve one day......there is no explanation has to how long you will be here or how fast or slow yours will go.....everyones application is totally different (you will see this from the timelines) and alot of factors are considered in the processing for example, are you bringing children to Canada, has the Primary Applicant ever left Jamaica, does he/she have an criminality issues etc......these types of things can make your processing longer. If you have a straight forward application, they can be completed anytime from 5 to 10 months! Pull up a chair and join in with the group.

Blessings and one love!

where is the site that I can find the access form for my notes again?

thank you for the welcome
I guess my case would be considered a straight forward case my husband and I are childhood sweethearts date since age 15 we have been married for 2 years now and there are no kids involved. I left Jamaica 10 years ago but we continued our relationship long distance me traveling back every chance i get to be with him. We tried to get him a visitor's visa 3 years ago but was turned down (will that effect him getting a visa now?)
also being that I waited 2 years after marriage to sponsor him will that effect the application?
I am sorry i have so many question please forgive me

Awww nice yolo well i dont believe it would affect anything did u put in on the application tjat he was denied before only if u did not then they can luk into that but ur gud

If you have a mailing address in Canada, you are not required to provide proof.

Welcome to our forum family yolo1980. I see members of our welcoming committee have already greeted you! :D Sit back, relax, and enjoy the roller coaster or boat ride along with the rest of us. We'll share plenty of laughs, perhaps a few tears, and offer all the support we can through this process!

we did put that on the application we also added a letter to our application explain that the reason why we took to file the application is due to both of us wanted to complete our studies before we filed the application.

to be honest we have been back on forth on weather he would come here to live or if i would return home to Jamaica. But i have come to love this country but i think with his degree in marine biology he would be easier to find a job here in Canada than in Jamaica, we do intend to return home one day because Jamaica has both our hearts
