Welcome to our forum family yolo1980. I see members of our welcoming committee have already greeted you! :D Sit back, relax, and enjoy the roller coaster or boat ride along with the rest of us. We'll share plenty of laughs, perhaps a few tears, and offer all the support we can through this process!

thank you

good afternoon and welcome to the site.....if you click on my link below the purple thing below then you can see the time lines of others that have gone thru or are going thru this process. Dark green means your spouse has landed and that is what we all hope to achieve one day......there is no explanation has to how long you will be here or how fast or slow yours will go.....everyones application is totally different (you will see this from the timelines) and alot of factors are considered in the processing for example, are you bringing children to Canada, has the Primary Applicant ever left Jamaica, does he/she have an criminality issues etc......these types of things can make your processing longer. If you have a straight forward application, they can be completed anytime from 5 to 10 months! Pull up a chair and join in with the group.

Blessings and one love!

Or you can be like me, have a straight forward application and wait over a year (still waiting)...

There is no consistency with Kingston. Hopefully your application will be processed in record time! There are several people who have gotten through in six months or even less time!

where is the site that I can find the access form for my notes again?

Hi hun, you can get the information and forms right off of the CIC website. If you go back several pages on this thread you should be able to find the link that someone posted. If I find it, I'll re-post it. :-*

thank you for the welcome
I guess my case would be considered a straight forward case my husband and I are childhood sweethearts date since age 15 we have been married for 2 years now and there are no kids involved. I left Jamaica 10 years ago but we continued our relationship long distance me traveling back every chance i get to be with him. We tried to get him a visitor's visa 3 years ago but was turned down (will that effect him getting a visa now?)
also being that I waited 2 years after marriage to sponsor him will that effect the application?
I am sorry i have so many question please forgive me

Then you shouldn't have no worries my girl! No that should not effect it either.....sometimes due to money issues etc....people can't always put the apps in right away, I would think they would understand that.
