kc, welding is a great choice for him, at least out west. i've struggled trying to find qualified welders out here

Hi everyone its us again..........wi walking around shopping........sightseeing........and everything else........wi came back checking fi see who else got a call. Yes canuck.........we're staying the first three nights at Plaza Hotel de Curacao and the last four nights at the Breezes Resort...........the weather and the food is great..........but it would b much greater fi all yuh guys were here..........later folks

canuck... he has been welding for 10 years back home in JA but was never "certified" and he did stick welding and mostly decorative welding such as making gates and furniture for resorts and big houses and stuff so when he came over here he figured he be able to do the same but he isnt "certified" and also they dont do that kinda welding here.. they basically just weld... they dont make pretty things so he is just going to go to this school that teaches all sorts of welding..arc mig tig underwater pipeline etc... and then after he takes the course he will be FSSA and CWB certified in all welding in all positions and can get a proper job. He is so good with his hands and bending and curling and making lamps and chairs and gates and pretty pretty burglar bars and iron bed frames and all sorts from scratch his own design off the top of his head.... pitty it fi go to waste! Oh well... after this course he will have the confidence to and the qualifications to be any kinda welder... but the course is called welder fitter...

Most of the "pretty,pretty" work is done by machine and presses up here now but he will have a good trade and will likely do some side work once he gets his cert. Some classes allow you to apprentice under a journeyman after 6 months so hopefully he can earn some $'s once he reaches that phase. I didn't miss the "good with his hands" part either. Just watch those ribs

yea all of that pretty stuff is done by machine here... like most stuff in this country.. machine is cheaper than man... so typical

all i know is that going to school can never be a bad thing... and i am glad that he is all about it... lots of people have no motivation in life and remain idle....

Not much happening as yet for me, i'm still waiting for a reply from my ARC submission, the thing is in cases that require the ARC we don't know the approximate timeline from when you submit the ARC payment, to when a decision have been made, so I guess we just wait and see....

Hello, i've been through this tread for awhile now. I too have my application going through Kingston. I would appreciate the email address to kingston to find out if they have received the medicals. Could someone please provide this information? it would be much appreciated. Thanks
