Congrats Kerlosgirl!!

@Halfmoon - Was just thinking that you have been "in process" for awhile. Maybe your VO has requested a med extension and that is what they are waiting on and possibly mailing out pc redo as mail in Jamaica is slower than a slug. I believe that is what your wait may be. Just some positive thinking

yes we can't go ahead and do these ourselves, we have to wait for kingston to get in touch with our hubbies, for the RCMP he will have to go get fingerprints done (not sure where) and then take those back to the embassy and they will forward on to RCMP in canada and when RCMP clears it they will email KIngston to let them know. As for the ARC, they will contact him again to pay the $400 and submit a letter and when he is approved by canada they will then ask for his Passport.

having said this though i heard from a couple sources if u pay all fees upfront it can knock a few months off ur wait time

nevermind just read through the last couple pages....

well once its submitted its submitted....but yup that why i sent the whole payment upfront from jump cause it speeds things up...so i heard..

It used to say right in the guide that it can delay your processing times by up to two months if not submitted with application fees. I think they removed that in the new guides. (My guide is 2 years old now)

Yes it's been a month ;) he was here on a farm work program. ;)

Oh Chickie, try and keep your spirits high...every day that goes by brings you one day closer to your hubby arriving in Canada...

still says that ....... however if you cant pay it all upfront then you could always pay the first part of the money and then pay the rprf after .... try and do it before they contact you though ... if you get it all out before they contact you it will cut down on your wait time ..... i did not pay mine when i sent in the application however i paid after a few months after before kingston contacted us
good thing i had the recipt cause my payment was not registed when they were ready to issue ppr. the vo called him told him to get that paid ..... we sent the reciept via email to kingston and mississauga and the next day he got ppr
