That's totally amazing news!!!!!

Hope we get the same call too!!! When did your hubbie's police certificate expire if you don't mind me asking?

Also when was the sponsorship part approved?

His police check expired in nov as well. He was asked to submit a new one which we did a week later. We were approved for sponsorship June 26

Yes he has! I have been doing lots of research and most of it says that they run the applicants name through the computer aNd if his name is "flagged" then they request fingerprints to confirm identity

Hey there, do you happen to remember where you seen this?

Congrats again....i truly don't think you will need the RCMP check, if they are asking for you to pay the RPF fee then yes that is the last leg of the journey, you hubby soon come! Woohoo.........great news did you pay the RPF in December when they told you?

Good Day everyone

Well on the home stretch with the papers....just have a question about Option C. Is that just your tax assessment print out?

That and hubby picking up the police check is all I am waiting for and then the papers are finally going in.

Thanks everyone
Erin

I basically just googled "RCMP fingerprints and name search for immigration" and they have discussion groups on it. I'm going to search it again. And post the link. Yes we payed the rprf the next day ;)

Congrats on almost getting your application completed. The option C printout is different than your tax assessment. You have to call CRA and request it. Good luck!

Just being curious but was your hubby here on work program, refugee or travel visa?

Have your tax assessment handy when you call CRA, they may ask you a couple of questions pertaining to it.
