Morning all :)

LOL..Charlie, good one!!
Lonely no I did not have a rep, filed on my own...so I will sit and wait patiently! But if they mailed the letter on October 20th, I should have recieved it by now! ::)

The weather in Calgary is still pretty great, no snow....I hope I dont jinx it! I could live without the snow....except for on X-mas day! I love snow at Christmas only! Only 51 days to go!! holy I havent started shopping at all!! usually I'm done months before! I better get on it!

what's on everyones wish list, besides being reunited with our loved one?
everyone have a FANTASTIC day!!it's almost Friday :D

Morning everyone how is it going for you all.Still now call yet for me?

witty sayin prayers for you!! hang tight!! you will get word soon! 8)

hello everyone! hope you are all doing well

witty - this is your post from another forum

"i went for my interview on the 10th of octuber at the kinston office. but the officer that interview me say she was not comfortable with my answers and my she thinks i am going to leave my wife when i get to canada.but she took my passport and birth certificate and told me she have to spoke to her supervisor and she will contact me in 2 weeks i would like to know what should i expect.do i get the visa or not.My wife and I is really worried."

be patient and hold tight. The fact that they kept your passport is perhaps good news. We have seen a few people on this forum in the past where KG has kept their spouse's passport for upwards of 2 + months without notifying them of anything. Based on what you've said in other postings, they are most likely keeping your PP for further investigation and background checks. Just wait it out and pray they approve your PR application. Right now you have no other choice.

Suki - My Christmas list has one thing on it, a Kindle. Aside from that, I don't really want anything else. Trying to get my husband some videogame he is going ga-ga for, LOL. He loved the one he got for his birthday, as he ended up being chosen as a beta-tester and got the pre-release more than two weeks ago. :D

Witty - KG works on their own time, not yours, mine or anyone else's. Even if she said they would contact you in two weeks, that is no guarantee they actually will. As everyone says, hold tight and wait, and do a whole lot of praying while you're at it.

Good morning forum!!

Charlie my daughter also wants the same thing so I'm gonna go next week and get it for her for xmas. I on the other hand have 3 things on my list: 1.perfume 2.a purse 3. Hoop earrings. :D
I can't wait to take mr proper out in the xmas shopping madness, he's gonna be shocked at how crazy some ppl get!!!

Come on KGN where are those update?!?!?

I would like an e-reader too! Mrs.P....Oh Christmas shopping with the hubby will be a real experience for him, and Boxing day!! lol, can be a madhouse!!
I have pandora charms on my list...that's pretty much what I get every Christmas/Birthday! I love them, and am working on my 3rd and last bracelet! ??? (maybe)

I still can't login to CAS, I hope I'm not doing something wrong!

Suki - probably not doing anything wrong, so I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Ours didn't go active until after KG had received the file and entered it on their system, more than likely yours will be the same. Probably by weekend you will see it activate.

ok guy i am hanging in there, the thing that gets to me most is that my anniversay is on the 8th of november and i am not going to be able to be there.

You're in good company, witty, I don't know of anyone here who hasn't missed an important occasion at least once during this process. It comes with the whole immigration territory. The good news is, it could be your last missed important occasion, and it is good to keep that in mind. In the meanwhile, do the best you can to make things special, even from a distance.

Good afternoon forum family, I trust everyone is getting anxious to start xmas shopping. Taking the Mrs out this weekend to begin, know she'll be floored with it too. Went shopping last xmas in JA and it will certainly be different for her to experience it. Got some outdoor lights and she wondered why, bought some ornaments and she said you're not putting up a tree are you, so this will be an interesting xmas I'm sure
Grandkids coming to spend xmas eve so xmas day will be quite shocking I think.
Witty, not hearing something is a good thing. As mentioned they are clarifying some things up. If you failed the interview you would have already found out.
Charlie, should spend some time with your family while you can

thanks guys.thats good hope and keeping my heads up.

LOL, would love to be a fly on the wall for Mrs canuck's first Xmas. My husband put the lights up last year just after his birthday, and I had to laugh at his industriousness with them, and how competitive he was with the neighbours. My favourites are the "icicle" lights, though, those are just magical.

Planning a trip home soon for sure, canuck, I miss my family and Westmoreland!

Hey everyone!!!

I got the same list as Mrs Proper :D

All this xmas talk... well about 2 weeks ago we seen decorations in the mall starting to be put up then we went shopping again nov. 1 and we saw them putting the halloween stock on sale and taking out the xmas things... my husband finds that they are starting very early.... I told him last week that we are gonna put up the tree around Dec. 1 and he laughed and said why so soon?? :o He is really wanting a real tree but I'm not digging that idea....
