My hubby would have connecting flight too. Not 12 hours but a for sure a few hours. Connecting flight with roughly 37 seats on his second flight lol. So that's what I'm thinking too. Book a seat. Saves me a drive to Toronto as well. And if needed change his flight and pay the fees. Fingers crossed he gets visa same day.

Wishing you the best of luck!

hi, has anyine here sent transcript from utech to Canada for evaluation? how long did they take to send it?

I was thinking the same as well. Because i almost prefer to pay the fee to change flight than have the flight i want sold out. I live in New Brunswick and alot of the connecting flight from Toronto arent the best with layovers for 12 hours

Im in new brunswick also was looking at flights right now they are cheap and only roughly 9 hours... 2 hour layover in toronto..but that was for december ...hopefully booking last minute we still get a 9hr flight available..

Hey everyone…Lets rewind a bit 3 years ago I met my husband he was here in Canada but out of status. He came up on the farm program and overstayed. I got pregnant and we decided to get married. In November 2014 CBSA came knocking on our door…I was nine months pregnant. Thankfully they let him go but told him he would have to leave by April 5th. We spent the next four months spending as much time together as we could. On April 3rd, 2015 he went back to JA I had a four month old. He was given an exclusion order which means he had a wait a year before returning to Canada. Since then I have been to Jamaica twice, met his kids and extended family. We had a couple of red flags on our file my husband is 17 years older than me, he married me after he overstayed, and we got married “fast”. His interview was yesterday and he got his visa/COPR on the spot. He had a lady interview him and he said that she was really nice. For most of the questions she asked he had documents with him to back up his answers which I personally think made all of the difference. Tonight he is landing with my two step kids. I am beyond excited. He is finally coming home. Just in time for our daughter's 2nd Birthday. This journey has been hard but I am so grateful to everyone on here and the friends that I have made…I will post the landing story tomorrow probably.

It depends on the field of study. I only know nursing. Which takes up to 6 months

So happy for you! I'm in the same situation. So I've been stressing out. My husbands interview is next month. This is what I wanted to hear from someone in this forum!

What sort of documents did he have to support his answers?
