Hi Everyone!
Try and hang in there the best you can! I recall around the 1 year mark, hubby and I went through a really rough time and I honestly thought that this process would break us apart. Hold on to the fact that your time is coming and even though it feels unbearable and desperate at times know that when your husband or wife arrives, it all becomes a distant memory!!! Keeping you all in my thoughts and wishing you all much patience!

Hubby and I are both doing great and celebrated his 1 month since landing this past weekend. He is starting to get to know the area where I live and has been driving a little. We haven't done too many things yet as I find he does get overwhelmed with all the 'newness' at times. I figure there is plenty of time to do things so right now we are just staying close to home, enjoying spending time with each other and getting adjusted to "officially" living life as husband and wife.

That's crazy you haven't tried to email them or anything?

I emailed with an address change and they confirmed, but did not answer any of my other questions as to a timeline of course lol and then it was not too close to the expiry of the medical etc. I emailed about a week ago to find out about that, but again no response as of yet.~ what else is new

Yes we applied in March and in April/May were sent back the files with a request for a medical and new forms that were added after we applied that were for Kingston : not sure what that was about, but we immediately made our appointment for medical (we were unsure what to do as his medical expired-from the previous years farm work program- just after we filed so we filed without a new one and figured we would hear if we needed new, which we did!) and as soon as we had the appointment and got the proper paperwork we sent back (June 2013) and July 11 2013 received the letter to inform I was approved as a sponsor and it was sent off to Kingston. A few months ago, I had called CIC to make sure about the address change and to ask the timeline for our second part, which they had told us 8 months.. and now... lol we still wait! We are trying to just "live our everyday lives" like we did for the first part, but it gets hard when~ a we all know~ sometimes being rougher then others especially when we have a child together whom will be two in January and he has no kids in Jamaica and no criminal record, etc.. seems basic enough to move on, but Kingston likely does not see it that way lol We will all get there soon!!

Seeing everyone's stories of landing etc on here give the smiles and hope to move forward! Thanks all! Keep the faith for sure, it will happen "when its supposed to" :-*

Since we're at the year mark , I was thinking of ordering again in July- Aug to see if anyone has looked at the file. Have you ordered yours lately and seen any movement? Thanks!!!!

Wth!!! Im lost.. they didnt request anything and thats the email he got saying thanks for Submitting The requested information ???

Since we're at the year mark , I was thinking of ordering again in July- Aug to see if anyone has looked at the file. Have you ordered yours lately and seen any movement? Thanks!!!!

Did the notes actually give you good information? We have never ordered(again same timeline as you basically) and were pondering if we should or it would be a "waste of time"

Notes - honestly. 27 pages of nothing. My info. His medical - nothing ( done in Feb of 13). All other back grounds - not started. Sent his son's medical , b cert etc to a Kingston. Nothing really at all. Sorry

morning mrs. davis....27 pages?.. i thought mine was the one one with 30 pages.. but i guess not..lol.. try again since its one year now... yo may never know... atleast i know my hubby medical was started passed but expired so he will have to do a next one... i order mine again to see what they saying.. so nothing try, nothing done..

when did you order yours??.. if you order yours on june 11, you will get it soon... probably later to the weekend... its 30 calendar days... so check your email later

Hey!!! I got my notes at the end of June and the only update was that my meds ext was confirmed and they are good until April 28 2015. Other than that it was 36 pages of just the same stuff

Remember though....not all the Vo's update the notes so maybe everything is done or maybe it hasn't even been started. I don't know.

I am going to order them again in August to see if any other info on there
