Hey Chickie girl,

How goes it? ;D

I am back on duty with the sheet.

JamFam, I have made a few updates please review and let me know if I have missed anyone or anything.

Chickie I think you deserve to resign; did someone else agree to volunteer for the sheet?
Hey girl glad to see you are back again! Congrats on your good news! Canadianwifey volunteered but then she disappeared so I am not sure what happened. If anyone else is interested in helping just let me know!

Hubby just picked up his passport!!!! We are relieved that this crazy journey is finally coming to an end. It has been an emotional roller coaster and a very long 14 months! Still doesn't feel real and I'm guessing it won't until he is sitting beside me on a plane!
We still have a few weeks before he will be landing as he needs to give notice to his work, finalize who is taking care of his house and car and also I will be spending some time down there before we head home. So we still have some time to wait before he is home.

Have a great weekend everyone!!
Congrats so much on your journey finally being over!

It's so true HOAO, a very painful process when you are in it. A bit like childbirth labour.....it seems like long slow torture at times and then BAM!! A beautiful thing happens and your memory of the pain recedes a bit :P. But unlike having a baby- immigration is definitely not something anyone wants to do again :D.
woah!!!!!! I read this and had to laugh. You totally nailed it with that analogy, that is just awesome!

;D CdnandTrini you make me laugh which is good during this hard process. Don't know how childbirth labour feels as yet, hopefully soon (Blessings to All the mothers) but I can just imagine. This immigration journey is no joke.

There are some good things that can come out of this process though. It teaches us tolerance and patience among other things. My husband and I understand each other better even though we are apart. Due to the separation we make pledges and set marriage rules that works for us and one of the things we do is vow to never argue. Whenever we have disagreements we would talk about it/discuss it and it has been working beautifully for us. This eliminates unkind and hurtful words we cant take back, leads to a purer kind of love and set a good, solid foundation for when we actually live together. I could go on and on but point is, some good things can come out of this while we wait.

Glad you got a little chuckle HOAO ;D......you need to keep a sense of humour about it or you would go MAD!!! You have a good perspective on the upsides to being apart. One of the things I value now ( I can say this because we are on the other side - Thank God) is that my husband and I have a whole documented history of our relationship via e-mails, SKYPE messages etc. So if I get mad at him (yes ladies you will still get mad at them when they are by your side :P!!) I read some of his sweet letters or listen to his past VM messages - saved those too - and I remind myself to be grateful for the fact that we can finally hug it out together or ahem ;) "make up" in ways we could not when in 2 different countries ;). Blessings!

Congrats greengurl so happy for you!!!!! Yes that surreal feeling will continue for awhile until you 2 get settled back at the new Canadian homestead. So great that you can go be with him as he prepares to come back with you. He may not say so in words but trust me he will be nervous and your support will be helpful to him. So much excitement for the JA folks - happy for all of you. Blessings.

Do they do DNA for the children's medicals? I think I read on one forum that they so and if the child turns out not to be genetically connected, they can't be sponsored.

Anyone know the answer to that one?
