I have a question Is it possible for a Jamaican to fly from Kingston to Toronto with a layover of 3hrs and a connecting flight with the same airline at ATL even though the person doesn't have a US visa? I see many cheap flights that's why I am curious. If anyone has done this or knows that will be great thanks.

O&O. He won't be able to. He would need transit visa. Your better off just paying the extra for the direct flight and save the time you would spend on applying and waiting for the transit visa.

Also this is high season for flights so they will be more money. Westjet posts their seat sales on Thursday afternoons and Air Canada will sometimes have cheaper seats if the aircraft isn't full and they need to sell the seats.

Awesome info!! I was wondering about seat sales! I'm hoping to spend less than $500 on my upcoming flight!

Do you fly into MoBay or Kingston? Check Caribbean airlines as well.

I fly into KGN because it's closer (45mins to my husband's house).
I'll check Caribbean Airlines now :)

Senario and question:

A man lived in the United States for a number of years.. He got involved in the drug trade and spent 5 years in prison before he was deported to jamaica. He lives in Jamaica for 12 years and have not attempted to return to the US. What are his chances of getting approved to be here in Canada? Inquiring on behalf of a friend who plans to marry this person in a short time! I told her that when you are 50 years old or over you get to be an ass within and without, this is her turn. At the end of the day I am going to be her friend and support her decision by helping her with information. I reserve my lecture for young folks because of their inexperience...I like being their fairy godmama even if they ask for it or not. I Await your response

as per the Canadian Immigration Website:
Your family member must have medical, criminal and background checks. If they have a criminal record or are a risk to Canada’s security, they may not be allowed to enter Canada.

Canada immigration will require criminal checks done from both Jamaica and the United States - which will probably show his time spent incarcerated.

Wishing your friend all the luck in the world.
