O&O I had a dream that your hubby got his passport and got to you before Christmas. I think it's still possible. In my dream I was reading it on the forum and you posted some pics! I'm sure you will get your passport back soon!

Aww thanks I think this might just be the week it will be 3 weeks since the call and 2 weeks since they had his passport. It sure will be nice to have him home his flight is booked just waiting for him to board.

When they requested your Passport, did they give you a time when it had to be in by?

Hey guys i have a question....
I see some of the forum members talking about e-medical! What is this? Nd where in jamaica they do that? Is it at most medical places or just few? And how it works?

As of the beginning of this year all Medicals were sent over the computer to the Ottawa Medical centre. When your spouse got their medical done all they would have got was a piece of paper signed by the doctor saying it was completed. This is what you would have sent in with your application.

Once it's sent to Ottawa it is then added to your spouses file once it's been submitted.

JamFam....definitely quiet this weekend :)

Hope all is well!

Well she started saying he had till Jan 10 to bring in his new police clearance because they have to give him a month to land by his medicals expire beginning of Feb. He told her he had a new police clearance with him so she said ok drop off your passport Tuesday or Thursday. Did they give your hubby a timeframe?

They Called him on Monday morning
said his passport had to be in between tuesday and Thursday and if he was dropping it off he had to come on tues or thurs between 1-2

he mailed it monday - arrived tuesday afternoon - someone signed for it at 3:36pm

Im wondering if they told him it needed to be there by thurs because friday is a half day?
OR if they want to issue it quickly cause things are expiring?

im hoping and praying this comes before tuesday - so i can book a flight and go... and be back for christmas . NONE of my family or firends know.. with the exception of my parents.

This is the last week to send them home before Xmas that's why it had to be in so quickly so he can be home for Xmas so look at this Tuesday or Thursday.

Does anyone know if I will be able to take my husband to the USA once he arrives in canada? Does he have to apply for a visitors visa to the USA ? I have a few trips I have to go next year for different occasion and I want to make sure he can go. Our first one is to Florida in February.

Yes he will need a visa to go to America. You can apply for a visa but chances are he will be denied. They advise you to wait at least a year before you apply. They think he is trying to get into America to live. It's up to you if you want to take a chance.
