It's a bungalow the lady that I spoke to said there is no ghetto people allowed there that you have to have money lol. We moved for the both of us as I will be in jamaica for 6 months. I'm looking forward to spending time with my husband.

that is so great......when you get here have fun because once you go back to canada in the cold it not going to be nice a all..

Why dont you check out St. Andrew, thats the are that is most like Toronto. check out "property ads Jamaica" and look under st andrew parrish.

Lol so true Maddants I'm going to be soaking up the sun and heading to Mo Bay sometimes for the beach. Might link up with some of you people that are coming to ja Sammy.

I took a leave of absence thank goodness for no kids then I wouldn't be able to go. Yes your hubby will sadly loose his friend but if u come down we can link.

{Not to rain on the parade: although we see people getting through in six months (sometimes less!) we need to remember that 80% of applications are completed in 19 months. Which means the other 20% may take even longer.} We don't have to like it but it is the reality! ;)

So even though/if the strike is affecting Kingston, we are still within the regular processing timelines!!! (I'm trying to add some CIC humour in here folks!)

In a email they sent my last month its 80% are approved in 6 months time and 20% up to 19 months. This is after it arrives in Jamaica.

you should be able to get internet there....they have a few option for internet here in jamaica....i have the digicel broadband where i just add credit to it and im good to go.....it not that fast like if you have a landline but it work ok for me.....the good thing with it is that i dont have a monthly bill at all since it prepaid....lol
