I read this book that helped transform me from that "A" typical black woman who dogged out every man I've ever been with to the wife I am today. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to change the dynamic of their relationship and understand how to love their husbands into responding to us as women as we so deparately hope for. I hope this book will help someone.

Dead wid laugh! I can't stop laughing...that is hilarious because it sounds just like me and my hubby a few weeks ago when he had a crick neck!! For almost 3 weeks he couldn't turn his head and wouldn't do anything about it. He was waiting to find someone who's left handed to turn it for him. LOL... boy of boy. I told him several times to have his mother try and massage it and maybe he should go see the doctor because it was going for quite a while. It could be a nerve or something in his spine...who knows?! But he just would not go!

Let me add - anytime anything is wrong with him, it's the end of the worrrrrrrld. A little belly ache, end of the worrrrrrrld, head hurts, end of the worrrrrrrld, muscle "pryane", end of the worrrrrrrld, doctor what doctor? it's just the end of the worrrrrrrld.

Thank you FLK. I don't dog him out unless I feel I have no choice. He thinks I'm incredibly one of a kind, because I have such a cool, laid back, loving, soft nature but then I have this ability to spit fire! My issues with hubby isn't that I'm not able to get the love, he just gets too needy at times!!

That is a man thing, be he Jamaican, Canadian, American, any kind of -can or -ian. My husband is no better. My brothers? No better. My nephews? No better. My male cousins (all my cousins are male!)? No better. A headache is the end of the world.

If, on the other hand, I should trip, fall, break part of me? "What're you on about? Get a bandaid or something!" ::)

Oh...morning ladies! ;D Welcome back, FLK!

That is most men for you. It's very strange but when they are sick or hurt the turn into little boys.

i fully agree women need to be emotionally nurtured, while men respected.

Which is why i continue to say, i know my role as woman, and respect the role of the man which is the head.

BUTTTTTTTT ............... some shit u have to nip in bud.

Charlie!! Good morning! So glad you get to join us this morning. As you can see, we're hot on fiyah this morning about our men!! I want to to sucker punch my hubby right now. We haven't spoken since Saturday since I told him to go jump in the river. Last night after I got in from a business meeting, took a nice hot bath to realease all the oxins and what not, I had a tormented spirit so I decided to call and do just that " torment "...my torment is in a very cordial fashion, very intelligent, but nonetheless torment. All he could quietly utter was, "him belly a hot him and him nuh feel so good". So I told "good for you" instead of the "awww baaaby - wish I could make you some tea". So it made him so upset while I'm on my end laughing!

He's was saying how unimportant he was to me and that I have nothing positive to say. Anyhow I hung and went to bed. Woke up feeling great but wanted to share a piece of my not perfect life with you.
