Hi.

I'm Nov 22 applicant but still in process. Already done with ADR then back to in process since first week of Dec. Do you think I need to send an email. Processing time now for oid is 2.5 mos as jndicated in their website. It is almost 2.5 mos. I'm feeling hopeless. I wanted to know whether approved or not so I can get ready with a new OASIS profile.

Don't lose hope. For as long as you are sure that your submitssion is complete and meets SINP minimum requirements, you will get nominated. Sending a follow-up email may or may not help.

I want to share what happened to me. I'm also a Nov 22 applicant and I submitted application with incomplete employment letters. Also, I felt my POF are insufficient at the time I submitted (account statements by end of Oct).

By 1st week of December, emailed SINP to submit some employment letters and some updates (due typo errors) on previous forms that I submitted. I also sent them my updated account statements by end of Nov. Few days later my application was changed from "Received" to "In process". Then on 29-Dec-2016, I submitted all my pending employment letters. This time I also attached a letter explaining my POF (since I have a number of bank accounts, mutual funds, and stocks). Without receiving any request for additional docs from SINP, I got nominated on 11-Jan-2017. Thank God.

Note that SINP did not consider the account statements I have submitted after 22-Nov but they corrected their initial POF conversion after sending them explanations on my POF.

I think my initiative to send them emails to submit additional documents and explanations on my POF (without waiting for them to ask me) made it easier for them to assess my application.

Again, don't lose hope.

Is it true na yung POF, for example sa statement na binigay mo for 3 months, yung lowest balance ang icoconvert nila into canadian dollars?

In my case, yes.

Hi guys. I just submitted my application today. Ang problema, yung bank statements na nasubmit ko ay dated October 2016. The portion also ng forms which I signed were dated Nov 2016 kasi yun yung time na nagupload ako ng docs. Will this be an issue? Any advice how to go about this? Thanks!

intay ka na lang po ng email mula sa kanila. normally kasi hihingi silang updated POF e..walang prublema opo un kasi di naman talaga ma update ang date sa time ng pagopen ng stream e..
sa case ko nga di ko naupload ang POF sa appli ko.. nag email na lang ako at hinabol ko un sa awa ng Diyos pumasok naman..

Either way. I applied on 22-Nov-2016. What I did was few weeks after my application, I emailed them my updated documents and those that weren't available at the time I applied. I did that twice and never received any email from SINP asking for additional docs and in 11-Jan-2017, I got nominated.

Matagal po ba talaga ang processing ng application for SOID
Nakapag file po kami ng Application for SOID last June 2016, then humingi po sila ng additional documents last Sept 2016.
then up to now "IN PROCESS" pa rin po ang status. Matagal po ba talaga. Salamat po.

Generally, ang timeline (from application to decision) ng SINP OID last year was 4.5 months and recently they updated sa 2.5 months. I'm not sure about the June 2016 applications kung ano ang issues nila. Cguro, there is no harm if you send an inquiry sa immigration@gov.sk.ca.

I agree with bjorkski. You can send an enquiry to them, at Ang bills nila mag reply sa mga emails base on my experience with them.

My husband will be travelling to Hongkong on Feb. 27. we didn't receive AOR yet.
How can we change the documents submitted under IMM5562E form - Supplementary Information Your Travel.
