I was just wondering, TLV VO sent us a request for additional documents and the police certificate is on its way to the VO right now, my question is, in the mean time do they work on the application or put the whole application on hold because of a missing document?

I think they put it on hold until they receive the documents they've requested.

It should be on hold cause they have so many other files to work on...

in my case. When THEY lost or misplaced documents, it held up the file for about 4 months-each time- There are thousands of files....they just move to the next.

it will depend on the visa officer/visa office. some wait until the "due date" listed on the request, some continue processing as soon as the requested documents are received. there's really no consistency to it.
