Also received an email on Dec 2nd for a pilot project : Citizenship to passport initiative where applicant ( tesiding in Canada ) can opt to submit passport application while citizenship application is being processed ..

applicant can upload passport application form, passport fee & digital photo for passport via Canada Post portal.

But above option is not applicable to people who want passport , urgently ( due to travel or other reasons )

quick question, Tracker updated for Oath however, I still did not see email coming in with instructions, idk even if it is virtual or In-Person. how long does it take to receive the email?

June 21 applied, Aug 18 AOR and Test Nov 13 and updated in tracker two days after, since then nothing until dec 8, when I checked in tracker it updated and thought it would take some time to get the email but nothing until today and scheduled on 30th Dec, this much I can see in tracker

Nope, might reach out to the support and see if they sent that out yet or heard that it might come as the oath date getting close

I have not received any email either, despite the Oath having been updated in Tracker.

I called and they said they would email 2 weeks before the Oath date.
They also told me it's In-person and my timeslot too. But when I asked for location, they told me to wait for email.

Same thing, I called and they said the invitation is still temporary and wait for the letter. They did confirm that it is going to be a virtual ceremony.

I think invite does take time even after updated in tracker, my guess they are pooling everyone and trying to accommodate with necessary arrangements so before one-two week you shall receive the invitation, virtual or in person, they'd have to go through some process it seems
