Hey! My LPP was completed on Nov 14 and no updates ever since. What needs to be done or processed after the LPP? Is there any concerning reason it would take so long and still ongoing? I see many applicants are getting oath invites after couple of days after LPP. Any input would be appreciated.

Same here LPP done on Nov 25 and still waiting for Oath. I think its tied to location. I am located in Niagara region. I see folks located in core GTA etc. are getting oath invites faster than anyone else. I called ircc and they said everything is completed and I just have to wait. There is nothing we can do expcet waiting for the oath email.

Pretty much random but I have seen few people getting it done in 4-5 days. For me it took nearly a month. So expect anywhere between 5-30 days.

Also received an email on Dec 2nd for a pilot project : Citizenship to passport initiative where applicant ( tesiding in Canada ) can opt to submit passport application while citizenship application is being processed ..

applicant can upload passport application form, passport fee & digital photo for passport via Canada Post portal.

But above option is not applicable to people who want passport , urgently ( due to travel or other reasons )

When I went to the Passport Office (not Service Canada), they told me that since I was travelling 10 days from the day of application, I wasn't eligible for an urgent passport, so I had to opt for express pickup instead.

Also, I didn't wait 2 days. I received my certificate at 5 pm on Tuesday, and applied at 8.30 am the next day.

Yes, there's a good chance you can apply for urgent passport. You should be able to pick it up on Monday.

I do not see any oath update on my tracker. LPP was completed in early November so not sure why it is taking so long for oath.
