You need to inform incase your changing the residential address

If I change the addrsss and When oath cermony occurs, I believe I have to present some sort of ID like DL or health card.
In DL, what happens if my address is old address and not new one while I wait for new card?

Hi guys, I finally received my test invitation on April 20th. Test window is April 22 to May 12. I received the email but no status tracker update yet. I send them an email as stated in the letter that I am not in Canada.

My questions are:

1. After I send the email notifying them that I am not in Canada, how long does it take them to reply back?

2. The letter states that they will “contact me with the next steps”. What does that mean? Does anyone know what these next steps are?

3. Can I do the test before they reply to me?

I also took my test outside Canada so I can help you on this..

1. After I sent them an email that I am not in Canada I got a reply back the next Day.

2. The next steps are that they will acknowledge that you are outside Canada and will allow you to take the test..

3. I suggest you to wait for the acknowledgement email before you attempt the test.

3. I suggest you to wait for the acknowledgement email before you attempt the test.

Thank you to both of you for the quick reply. I sent the email on Friday evening and I have not received a reply from them just yet. I suppose because it was right before the weekend. I hope they reply today or tomorrow. and will wait for their acknowledgment.

I was also outside Canada when the test invite came and I wanted to give it outside Canada, but Niagara Falls office never replied to my email. I never reached out to them again and waited till i return to canada as per scheduled return date which was 2 days before the test timeline so i gave the test from Canada then and sent email to niagara falls office again before doing test that i sent email to do test from outside but never heard from your side but now since i have returned back as per my scheduled return date so i have given the test from within canada, and i saw that my test was marked as completed after 5 days from the test date.

I see. Well that’s a good way to do it if you don’t hear from them and you are back in Canada before the test date.

Update from my case: I received their acknowledgement and will do the test. Thanks again everyone for your help.

Please update -DM April 14th

Looks like the new online tracker didn't work properly since April 12th, but they fixed it today!
Tracker shows that its been updated today, April 25th, but the progress bar shows everything turned Completed on April 14th (Language, Physical presence, Prohibitions), except Citizenship ceremony-not started.
So, I guess now the waiting game for the citizenship ceremony invite letter begins...

My citizenship tracker updated to completed for all of them today except oath ceremony.
ECAS reflects decision made. A bit sigh of relief.
