For online applicants, at what point can we tell that our citizenship certificate has been mailed out? I had my oath yesterday and want get my passport asap. My application had an update today showing that my citizenship ceremony was complete on June 15. Just not sure how I can confirm when my citizenship certificate has been mailed.

Did you ask for urgent certificate ?

If you're familiar with the tracker, you may refer to columns S and T. There seems to be no consistency whatsoever. For some folks it's a few days, for others months. In my case I had my update (fingerprints received) in a month; radio silence after that.

Why the fingerprint? I have passed the background check already!

There seems to be no consistency to this either.. In my case, the moment I passed my exam, I received a request for fingerprints which I provided the next day. It took a month to get:

We received your fingerprint information on March 2, 2022 and will review them shortly. Thank you!

"Shortly" apparently means at least 4 months as no more update since and the only portion checked as "Completed" is still the citizenship exam..

The next section with Assigned By and Assigned To fields is ELIGIBILITY ASSESSMENTS, the latest ones (Eligibility - Prohibitions and Eligibility - Language) with Assigned By: C8135 and Assigned To: RC-8090 and Status Date: 2022/06/10 and Due Date: 2022/09/19. Same thing for #4 on the list (Eligibility - Residence) and same Assigned By: and Assigned To: for #3 (Eligibility - Knowledge) except Status Date: 2022/03/03 and Due Date: 2022/03/01

in the CRIMINALITY section, the same Assigned By: C8135 and Assigned To: RC-8090 show, but Due Date is 2021/12/08 and Status Updated Date is 2022/02/21

The PAPER FILE TRANSFER is where I see the E-Grant Grant Review Ready status for HISTORY: 2 and it says

Seems your assigned to and by are empty now as your file has passed grant review stage and now its oath related which may be some other team.

For me, i am now waiting if it doesn't again change from Grant review ready to some other status, i have seen sometimes after this much long wait they ask for passport copies and in some cases interview too if background checks are not completed like in my case.

My wife case is also similar and is also in
niagra falls office, no Background completion for her as well but in her case they didn't ask for fingerprints before criminality checks got completed. In ny case, they asked FP before criminality got completed.

Earlier this year, Niagra Falls office was cruising but now this office has lost its speed

I got update after 3 months . I did cleared my test on March 11 they did completed test on March 21 and on July 5 all sections completed. I don't know what's time going to get oath letter. It's so frustrating.

Yeah, really frustrating indeed. All sections completed for me on June 13 (and this was after test was set to completed on March 4) and I'm still waiting for oath. Some people have been waiting 7 months since DM.

Yeah . R u in Alberta. Alberta is taking long I think .no spots for oath ceremony. It's busy .
