First of all this is not to argue or otherwise. I am just sharing my experience.
I may be falling short to understand this entire process. The instructions are stated in the help centre Question and answer. But there was no such notification when we make payment following documents submission. The real expectation of IRCC is to pay the deference amount first and then the receipt of it along with other document while submitting express entry profile. Till this time I have not come a cross this precisely while surfing on IRCC website for pay your fees. In one of the discussion groups someone has placed the content of AOR with this regard which clearly indicates it. It also mentions that "If you submit your eAPR without the additional fees, a fee payment request will be sent to you through your MyAccount."

I submitted my application on 01 Jun but did not receive any ADR till this date. As we are proactively able to pay it, I have done it. Thanks for the guidance provided in this group discussion.
When the fee change happened, the MyCIC account mentioned that you have to pay the fee difference. However, after it was fixed, the MyCIC account reflects the new fee anyway.

If you submitted the application before the fee change was reflected, then you answer to your questions is available here:

https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1517&top=29

At the end waiting for IRCC to send you a letter merely delays the processing of your application. If you can do it proactively, there better it is.

Hi everone, I mailed and got verified received the PNP PR application paper at the Centralized Intake Office since March 5 2020, up to now as I count, it is 3 months 11 days pass. I worried waiting for the AOR. Is it possible to take longer than 90 days for receiving AOR, right? My PNP will expired on July 28 2020. Anyone here submited around March and still wait for AOR same with me? Please let's me know, thanks

Currently IRCC is not dealing with any paper based application at all. So you can expect delays.

Wow, so you mean it may take way longer than expectation right? but should I try to extend my PNP while I am not sure the AOR come before my PNP expired?
Thanks for answering my question!

PNP is valid for only 6 months but you should try to communicate with them asap and ask for an extension because of your unique circumstances.

Your AOR will be dated the day IRCC received the application. Even if your AOR is delayed, it will be retrospective.

Hey @legalfalcon, just curious about something.

My application is pretty small (1 job, lived in one country other than Canada, and just one diploma) - so they don't have a lot of stuff to verify. Do you think they will process my application faster, or do I have to wait just as long as the other more complex applications?

I guess I'm trying to understand if a simple application could take way less time than a complex one (based on what you've seen in this forum/experience)

Don't stress too much about this. IRCC is not staffed by a bunch of unsympathetic agents just itching to decline PRs. People make mistakes and if there is no intent on your part to lie, you should be ok.

This is not how things work. In processing an application, there are many factors, your application details is just one of them. Visa office, work loads, etc also play a factors. If you have submitted your application, then just be patient.

Also, due to COVID-19 many IRCC offices are still closed.

I am so impressed at @legalfalcon’s detailed explanations here and I am lucky I found this thread.

ITA 15th May
AOR for eAPR-CEC is 19th June.
PCC, upfront medicals submitted.

My question to @legalfalcon is I have a PNP-Paper based application already in que submitted since Oct 23, 2017. I got tired of the wait and went the CEC route, now having two applications running concurrently.

I left Canada August 2018 when my BOWP was refused bcos I applied very late (1 month to my work permit expiring), so I am guessing why my PNP-paper based application is facing difficulties (currently at Calgary LVO).
Should I be worried the PNP will affect my new CEC application?
mor ahouid I cancel the PNP application altogether or wait a little more for progress on the CEC application?

kind regards.
