I don't want to be harsh on you but the more the days pass by the more the chances of getting the application returned ( i hope it doesn't happen to you) , I think you should contact the IRCC by calling them and asking for update. Just check previous post to know how to call them since i have not called them yet.

All the best

Hey everyone,

Hoping we can get some insights. We sent our Common Law Spousal application to the Sydney, Nova Scotia office on May 30 2019. Fed Ex confirmed delivery time and recipient by the name of Jamie.

We have not heard anything from IRCC via email or mail since then (almost 90 days)... Should we be concerned? Some people said a few months wait is normal for Sydney office, while others have received their AOR within a few weeks and are already much further into the process.

We don't have a file number to check online, and the receipt of our payment (Receipt #) doesn't appear to be found though I'm not sure if that's the receipt they refer to when trying to link your account.

Any guidance would be appreciated!
I won’t be surprised if they’re just sitting on your file bit calling ircc won’t hurt at all.

Hi there we have not heard anything since April 2019 after Medicals received,We want to take our Vacation in Dec 2019,but worried we might be asked to send passport or something like that, and then we will have to cut short and rush back,or would they give us a 30 day window to submit?
Or does anyone know if it will take more time to get Passport request ,I really wish it comes before we leave for Vacation.

Hello! My wife has completed her medical and the clinic people said they will send it to IRCC. Before we left, they gave us a paper copy of an eMedical information sheet. Do we need to upload this?

Here is the request we had received from IRCC before we went to the clinic:
  1. We sent XXXXXX XXXXX medical instructions on August 21, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
I'm guessing I do nothing and just wait for the clinic to send to IRCC. Am I right?

Thanks! I don't want to make a single mistake!

Thanks. I already tried calling the 1-888-242-2100 number but because we don't have an application number to enter, I just hit a dead end. The only number I can find that is one letter and 9 digits is our payment receipt number but that's not an option when calling. Any other advice?

Hi good day. Firstly, you do not need an application number to call. I tried calling using google hangout being im outside canada. 613-944-4000 and then I press 1-1-1 -2-1-1-0 to speak with someone.

If you are within Canada you can try this 888-242-2100 then press 2-1-1-0 to speak with someone. you are located in Canada you can use that number.

The receipt number you have is perfect enough to speak to an agent. That's wat I used before getting an AOR. Goodluck

You can get copy of your medial report after a couple of days and send it to ircc together with the receipt you received when you passed medical. just to be sure they received it.
Or just wait, clinic will send it to them.

Thanks - so when you spoke with an agent, you gave the receipt number? How did you get through to the agent in the first place? I can only get to a place where they ask to enter my application number starting with B, EP, F, etc but not my receipt number starting with R (not an option). If I enter that anyway, it says press 0 to speak to an agent and then says they have a high volume of calls and can't transfer me. I'm sure I"m not the only person who's had this issue but I can't find helpful info in the forum.

Am I doing something wrong?

I am not sure to which Visa Office my application moved. I see in the tracker that few members updated that on August 26, 2019 file moved to Mississauga visa office. Can someone please respond how you came to know that file moved to visa office. I am worried where my file went, hopefully should be Mississauga. Any response regarding this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
