FSW-O.
AOR: June 26th 2019
MEP: July 26, 2019
Eligibility: Passed (Confirmed it by calling them)
BGS: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Question:
- Anyone residing inside USA (but not citizens of USA) have similar dates?
I do reside in the USA and I am experiencing similar situation as well.

PNP-O
AOR: June 20th
MEP: Aug 20th
Eligibility: Unknown
BGS: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

I have to admit that checking on this forum and reading about other experiences brings hope, but it bring another question too. Why such a huge delay in Ottawa ? If people in APR don't even have a PPR then the 6 months window is kinda misleading...

I am just hopeless, being a PNP applicant December will be 1 year I am in this process :(

I thought PNPs are processed faster than FSWs without PNP. I called the CIC today and they said "why hurry? you just started the process in June.." :) Well, what they see on paper is June 19, but the hardwork has been put in since Sep 18 :(

That may generally be the case... but we can’t feel entitled about it, can we? If you’re PNP, try to check in 2 weeks. One Late May PNP just got her PPR.

Keep in mind, there’s also a queue for PNPs much as there’s a queue for regular FSW-Os. If PNPs before you haven’t gotten their PPRs yet, just try to track their processing times when they do and hopefully the time they take is around how much time yours would too.

Why feel hopeless when you just got in?

Look on the brighter side, buddy. You got PNP. Give it 3-4 months for your PPR to arrive. That’s how much time the NSNP newly PPR’d applicants had to wait for the golden email... and some of then have been waiting for the PNP chance since 2017!

Absolutely ! We should always look on the brighter side, especially that we know that some did not get the opportunity to even get an ITA. Thanks for the encouragement, as you mentionned I will be checking back in 2 weeks, hopefully we'll get some great news here too :)

Hi Guys,

I got my AOR on 27th Jun’19
Medical passed : 26Th Jul’19
Biometrics : 30th Jul’19

Any one with similar timelines and updates?

Also do you have any whatsapp group for Jun’19 AOR. If yes, can you add me in that group?

Also what is the process of knowing your VO and when can we request to know the VO?

Thanks in advance
Regards

1. Almost everyone of us is stuck with the same status.
2. It's full.
3. Call IRCC (use textnow app if you are an outland applicant). You can call them anytime to ask about VO and application status.

Look, you are CEC so it is highly unlikely that you'll have to wait more than 6 months in total. Your stream is prioritised.

I will receive an update in my profile soon.
If you’re bound to receive an update, it’s either:
  1. you may have cleared eligibility or security check
  2. they need more documents from you
  3. best case scenario is you’re super lucky to get an interview invitation
  4. worst case is you get a rejection
These are possibilities tho much like many things. Take it with a grain of salt.
