we called cic 2 weeks ago they say eligibility passed but no update in the profile since 31/07
security and conformity not started yet
BG status: we received your application we will send u a message when we start cheeking you re BG.
shoud i call cic another time or just wait for the update.

They sent me the request July 19th.. I uploaded the file July 31st, visa office EdmontonNo i didn't put my foreign experience in the application, just my Canadian experience. I also did my masters here. So i thought my points were high enough, i didn't want to put foreign documents as it might take long to process and check. I uploaded my RCMP July 31st. PPR was Sep 6TH ( 37 days ) ... I hope u'll hear from them soon .. good luck
I did my masters here in Canada so I was eligible.. but I tried to keep that as a last option .. because I heard it takes longer to process, as far as I know you have to wait for while to process your PNP, and then your express entry. So no I didn't .. i applied to CEC right away.
I believe you should wait till 1st week of october. My case same and i got my AOR on June 07 2019. My security is pending since last 3 weeks.

Hi, I reported my address change through CSE but I got no confirmation within 5 days, not even a month. Then I submitted another one, and I did not get any confirmation again almost a month. What should I do? Is this normal?

not yet, but I think I will be almost forced to do so now. Another CSE submitted the same day is already in file, but not the ones with the address change

I called them on Sept 18th. They said that criminal check passed, eligibility in progress (assigned to senior officer), security not started.
BG check status on my online account says 'We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information'
Am I at IP2? Anyone in similar situation?
