It must be difficult to deal with that extra processing time without knowing the reason behind it. It's August 31.
 
I was also in SS,My reasons could be
1)-We are on Government job
2)-Travel history includes only two countries Malaysia and Australia.
3)-i was having previous refusals of Visa’s to Canada and Usa
You never know why they put you in SS ,I think it is Random.

Have you received the PPR? If yes, how long does it take for you ?

Why do you think having traveled to only two countries becomes the possible reason for your SS?

I'm assuming myself to be selected for SS and will have to wait maybe another year to get my application finalized. Since everything about security including activities and notes on my GCMS notes were redacted, which according to lots of forum members is the indication of SS.

I am also assuming mine is SS as my notes show all is approved since june 2018 and security info is redacted.
I am from april aor and might be selected because of extensive travel history. Dont see any other point why they would put me in SS

Hey Guys,
Thanks a lot for all the wishes.I so so hope that we all get our PPRs soon.I know how it feels to see others getting theirs and want us all to have our PPRs asap.
Just wanted to check a couple of things:
1.Now that I have my PPR,I know I need to send Passports through VFS to Delhi and they will sign and stamp and give us visa along with deadline to reach(pls correct if I am wrong).Does the VFS also charge?My agent saying there is a charge of 500 rs.per person.
2.My IRCC Profile still shows the same status.Is that normal?When does it change
