Ok.. I checked my profile again, the status again changed to “ Submitted”.

However the information under Background check is still changed. It says “We have started your background check. We will inform if we need any information”.

Is this thing normal, or they just did for fun..

Anyways I am happy that I got something from them to think about after 125 days.

It looks normal..that's exactly what happened for me too..the only change being it moved to ip2

A ghost update is when you log in and see application updated instead of submitted but when you go into your application nothing has changed.

I got one on those yesterday after seeing IP2 change 3 hours before that. Hence my nonstop email refresh this whole day.
