No one knows what's going on in Sydney VO guys. Please don't bother yourself by trying to figour out the reasons behind delays in sending PPR for post approval applicants.

so here is deal... if your are in US or Canada...its directly done by IRCC... but outside here.. its a two step process.. IRCC releases approval and goes to local offices to handle the flow and do second step

Mine was approved on Oct 15th but up to maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago it's still in Canada and hasn't been released to the local office. I haven't checked back recently but will this week.

So its Monday again with new hope! Wishing a great week to everyone!

Hey, Guys here is the deal. Most APPROVED PPR's ( JUN-SEPT) will come the last 2 weeks of December starting from next week in quotas. Note, CIC will be shutting down for the year as most companies in Canada do probably 21st Dec till Jan 2nd, 2019. Yes, Y'all approved will get PPR which will flow through till late January or early Feb for printing counterfoil or visa stamping(That's the game plan). IRCC staffs will resume early in the year with less workload and hence will help them plan the year 2019 and sorting, approving inland applications for JUL-SEPT AOR while JUNE outland folks are preparing for sending passport.

you will be forced to send your passport next year as there might be a caveat that "our office is closed between so so so, therefore, do not send your passport till we resume so so so.

Anyone here waiting for GCMS notes? We ordered ours on the 9th of November, and expecting them to come this week :) Have heard that there's a general delay though. Anyone else waiting for their GCMS notes? :)

Give it a day or two. Mine came on the 32nd day

Yeah, just wanted to adjust my expectations according to current trends ;) Not impatient yet :) Kind of excited to receive these, as they were ordered after IP2. The prior GCMS notes indicate the nothing happened from the 2nd of August to the 11th of October. Did yours inform you of anything worth knowing?

Yes. It was less than 2 months post AOR, but I learned that my eligibility was MET.
I'm actually going to wait till I get confirmation that my application has been approved before I order the second set.

If I may ask - why is that? :) We've ordered three so far. Gives a feeling of knowing something.

No compay shuts down for these many days, neither will CIC. Only December 25th is a National holiday and 26th is Holiday in Ontario. People do take vacation during last 2 weeks of the year but it doesn’t mean that offices will be shutdown. Processing will be even slower due to reduced strength though.
