Don’t know man, I think I already threw my hopes and expectations under the bus... I wouldn’t be surprised if they set up PPRs to be sent the day we cross the 6 months timeline, and that is on the best case scenario that our applications are already approved. I pretty much gave up and I’ll let the mail arrive whenever they feel like it. I don’t think any application would be rejected this far in so well..

Lot of expectations today as it’s thursday morning in Canada and based on past trends they have released lot of pprs on Thursday. I have never waited for GOT seasons also so eagerly.

Please send us our share of happiness. It’s high time now.

If Thursday was chosen like it was earlier, the rain would have started already. I doubt today would deliver any heap.

1 person fsw-o Pakistan gets a PPR. AOR Sept. 11, 2018. Not sure what havoc have we unleashed.

They should have an immitracker-ish site with official data.. maybe then they would realize the huge gap of ignored applications.

Okay, I finally managed to reach an IRCC agent.

They said my eligibility was passed and background checks passed. I asked her if this means that my application is approved. She said, yes, but...

...the agents are not allowed to confirm this, in the off chance that something changes.

She said I should wait for a letter instructing me on how to do my landing, and it should arrive in the next few weeks (since I am an inland applicant, I guess I don't actually go the PPR route).

And my visa office is....
Sydney, NS.

So, my guess is that most CEC applicants like me who've been in the IP2 queue for a while, you are likely nearly approved and waiting at Sydney.

Congratulations. After how many attempts were you able to connect? I am unable to connect to agent since last 3 days. Now I am thinking of going for other option of email.

I happened to call before 8 am (8 am is the start of business hours). I called at ~7 45, and was placed in the queue with a 17 min wait time.
Another time I got through was on a Monday afternoon (lunch time), but my connectivity was poor and the call dropped. Monday is the start of the week, and people tend to call if they don't see any updates towards mid-week.
