As @cansha mentioned, this situation is more common than we think. I have found 3 more including you, @phoenixsong and @PCC_desperate within an hour. Hope the files start moving and everyone gets out of this situation, all we can do right now is wait and order GCMS notes if not done already. In the worst case, we will have to leave US and let CIC know properly about the changes.
Most India / China US based candidates have similar situation as these two nations have biggest backlog in terms of green card. Some may be in better situation with 1-2 years left on visa or I140 in hand. But given the high rejection rate of extension these days more or less everyone is feeling the heat.

This is my exact situation. My eligibility says Review Required but my A.11.2 says "Appears Met". Do you know what's the difference between the two?

I'll be reaching 7 months from AOR at the end of this week.
I have review required comment for my RCMP certificate which I submitted as adr. Do you mean even this may take a year for approval..!!!??
A11.2 is the fsw minimum requirements which must be met. You are safe there because if an applicant does not meet this the application gets rejected without a chance. Eligibility is the whole process (including work experience, medical, pof etc.)which requires you to provide all necessary documents as well. Your rcmp was due thus the case analyst had no choice but to put eligibility review otherwise your file would have moved to officer's desk as recommend passed even though it was not complete. It is matter of time now before you receive ppr. Good luck!

Thanks. The person with the RCMP issue was someone else, I'm under Review Required for POF.

But thanks again.

Pof review will not turn into rejection directly. Officer will send procedural fairness letter at the final stage. Once you respond to the letter you will receive the ppr.
Case analyst cannot reject, review or approve applications, they only do primary verifications and recommend the file to a visa Officer. I believe visa officer approve the documents without reverifications if it is recommend pass. They only reverify those documents which was put review required. For example, your pof is under review so only this document will be reviewed by the officer but other documents such as experience letter will be approved as per the recommendation.
There are backlogs of review required applications building everyday but number of Officers are not increasing. This is causing more delays. Your ppr is not far away. Good luck!

Yes it will be okay. Just let cic know that you have moved to China. I would suggest to hold on to transferring money though. Moving money from USA to Canada May be better. Else you will have to bear costs of currency change twice. Once for USA to China and then from China to Canada.
I agree. U don’t have to move money to China. I am keeping myself prepared in the same way. You can leave the country, your money doesn’t have to.

I have not spoken to the banks yet, but was thinking if they will allow me to keep the bank accounts open without me being here, I mean without any valid US address. Once I have more info on this , I will update here in case someone else is also looking for it.

Yes. Plus most banking these days is online. If you want you can change the address to a friends address. I find banking in USA to be very user friendly. Simply because I don’t need to visit bank for anything.

Hey
Congratulations, this must be really exciting for you :) .
Any idea why is IRCC taking longer to process this year.
Thanks mate. No idea about the delay. I used to think the same but I moved to IP2 on 2 oct and with in another 3 days I had the PPR. I guess what it means is, from here whenever they pick up your file, it will be completed quickly.
Don’t worry my friend I sure you will get yours soon.

My status change from IP1 to IP2 was around the same timeline.
IP1 - 20th June and then IP2 - 2nd October. So I guess you can expect some movement. A lot of people in this thread are forecasting that maximum of June AORs will get PPR this month.
