they should ahve been... things will become faster starting next month... there was huge employe crush due to reorganization...
What’s point in waiting so long, they have already waited enough. Whatever be the reason they should prioritize older applications first. Stupid reasons to cover up unclear backlogs.

Don’t say such things like next month, it adds up to more frustration to people who are still waiting.

Last October. You don’t think in such case june applications should have been cleared till that time. I have been observing lot of movements for all months except June. People who are stuck are stucked forever it seems. Hope they clear all backlogs now.

Wer r u staying in Ottawa
Thanks for asking sid. I am staying in Overbrook area. Feeling clueless where to start from. For the moment I don't have to think about accommodation but need to start looking for a job. Yet to get a SIN because we landed on sunday afternoon and I am recovering from fever. Hope by the end of this week I will have SIN and bank account.

There are many applicants waiting prior to June as well. IRCC definitely needs to get their stuff together and pick up speed.
my frn.. we are talking abt IRCC because our work is stuck ... there are bigger worries right now in place.. than clearing this ... so staff is being pushed arn and hiring is on.... it should pick up pace... in coming month or so...

Thank you so much. Surely I will do. Just let me recover from this fever thing. I am extrimely happy that people like you do this for others without any return expectation. Thank you!

anyone know the longest wait time for an inland CEC case? Im coming up on 8.5 months.

Think I'm close to taking the gold medal .. June 23 AOR

Congratulations on landing! Did you carry bank statements as PoF? Do they ask for proof of finance during landing interview?
We have landed about 18 hours ago after 27 hours long journey. Food was rubbish in airplane so couldn't eat properly. Flight was delayed by half an hour. Anyway immgration formalities in Toronto were very smooth and completed everything within few minutes. No queue and no hassle. We got all our laggage without any problem. We brought lots of food items. Had a connecting flight to Ottawa which was also delayed so we barely made it. Unfortunately I got fever and now feeling very sick! Temperature outside is -4 to -10 and snow have covered whole city. Hopefully within a week I will be settled down properly. We are currently living in our Aunt's house and she is taking care of us excellently.

As I read many times in this forum that officers in Airport will say "welcome to Canada" but no officer actually said this to me. First time I heared this greetings from the lady Uber driver who was very excited after knowing she is the first Canadian born person we have met outside Airport.

I am very greatful to this forum. Without this forum I wouldn't have made to this far. Wishing everyone good luck!

Buddy I'm not arguing over that they might have more important things to do than clearing applications from last year for so many people. Nor am i talking about IRCC coz my work is stuck. Many of my friends are working in Canada and they might have to leave the country and their jobs coz of the delay. Its not about one person.
So I would agree on the more important stuff for them, but the least they could do is inform everyone officially and change the timelines from 6 months to one year. And anyways, there is always a scope for improvement in any office, no matter how "perfect" a system is.
