I know, when I started my career as a customer service exec for an international project, I was paid like ₹3000 (around $40 as per current xchange rate) per month and still asked to keep a smile on my face everytime I am on a call. This was back in 2003. :D :P

He said “eligibility needs additional review and background check hasn’t started”.
My eligibility was recommended passed as per GCMS on July 9th.

No ghost but by calling in October I confirmed that it was approved on Oct 18th.

I called again after my 6 month date passed. They also confirmed the approval date and that it had moved to Sydney from Ottawa. She said she would send a note to Sydney. Is been over a week since then and still nothing.

I haven't used the webform.

I just spoke with an Agent. He was very nice but not helpful. Said an officer is reviewing the additional materials that I have uploaded mid November and then he will either make a decision or ask for more documents ( even though that changed on my account from We're reviewing the documents you've provided to Not Applicable a week ago). Then he said to keep checking my account this week, and hopefully I will hear the positive news.

My file is still in Montreal.

It is utterly a big lie from the CC agent. I have ordered GCMS notes once, MP inquired once, I called whopping 11 times before approval (1st call was just after 42 days) and 2 times after approval (approved 5th Nov) and raised CSE once after 184 days. No agent ever told me anything nagetive about my calls/inquiries. Also call center agents do not have access to our files or involved in any ways to our applications so there is no way they can raise a red flag or a green/good flag and get involved with our application. Clearly this guy was bluffing.

he was super reluctant to check the file. at first he was like you have the progress bar then he was like if you have called us a month back then there is no update as of yet.

i am utterly confused why would he ask if I ever got arrested or not. i have never got arrested anywhere on earth and he knows i have passed Criminality in november. then what's the point of asking me that.

when i called the first time couple of months back, my only inquiry was if they have sent the email and whether i have missed it or not and the agent back then was so nice that he went on to update me about my eligibility, criminality, security etc. even without asking.

this time though, terrible experience. i should say it felt like borderline bullying.

That's peculiar. But he said they dint need additional documents so no need to fret.
You can just wait it out of order new notes.
 
hi guys... AOR 16/jun.. since that date i have not received any updates from cic..ordered notes and lately its of 100 pages..

Eligibility : Not started
Security: Not startred
Criminality: Not started
Med: Not Started
Info Sharing : Complete
Final:

Called CIC and was told that my file was is under process and my eligibility wasn’t yet done. and they will contact me soon for any ADR or etc..

Guys i have never posted before but honestly i really need some advice because this is insane that i m stuck with eligibility :(

Check the last 4-5 pages and tell so what the case analyst/case processing agent comments are.
