Thank you, I hope I'll get through :)

EDIT: I finally got through and they told me my application is being returned last Friday. They don't have the reason why it was returned on the system. Once I get it back I'll update you guys on why it was returned. There goes the wait again, haha...
Sorry to hear that. Please let me know what was the reason.

Hi All,

Just need to clear a simple doubt. My wife (PA) got her AOR1 on 27th June and I still have not got it yet. She linked her application on 1st Aug (didn't check her email before). Can you let me know what will be the date they will start at my app, 27th or 1st. And how long will it take to receive the Sch A and PCC request (approx how many days) as its 6 working days after 27th and 1 day after 1st, so a little confused.

thanks

Thanks for the insight, samandp. The agent on the phone said he can't see the notes the officer made about my application (or maybe he just doesn't want to look it up? we will never know), hopefully I will get the returned package this Friday so I can start refilling everything again onto the new forms.

A followup question:
Since my spouse is not with me, can they sign the new forms electronically or do they have to sign it in person and send it back to me?

I know that the IMM5476 Use of Representative can be signed electronically, but I'm not sure about the updated June 2017 forms (IMM0008, IMM1344 and IMM5533).

I have no clue about that..I have read on forum somewhere that we can electronically sign but m not sure which forms we can. So my husband will be sending all the updated forms signed from India. Don't want to take any chance now.

Yes, you're right. Don't want to take any chances now.
Would've been great if they could let us know what forms could be signed electronically to minimize the back and forth time.

Ecas will show always application received.
Check GCKey ( I don't have access as cant link my application ).

This is consider to be long time that you don't get AOR2. My suggestion is to call them to find out more.
I don't have access to GCKEY because I have representative. MP has called to CPC Mississauga and he said everything thing is completed in file and it will be transferred to LVO soon. but still I'm waiting. and I do not know why if everything is completed and they are taking so long for no reason

For all those that have deir files transfered...why is it difficult to answer just this simple question. After submittin sch A and Pcc...do you still have ' your action is required' on your online profile? If yes, at what point will that change. Cos my spouse has submitted both but still have action required on profile. Thanks.

someone would update please
If you follow the steps --> country where you are paying from, what type of application, what are you paying for?
Answer these 3 questions as it applies to your application.
Click - Get payment instructions
Then you should be able to see 3 options as follows:

  1. Sponsor your spouse or partner = Sponsorship fee ($75), principal applicant processing fee ($475) and right of permanent residence fee ($490) = $1,040
  2. Sponsor your spouse or partner without right of permanent residence fee = Sponsorship fee ($75) and principal applicant processing fee ($475) = $550
  3. Sponsor a dependent child = Sponsor only a dependent child ($75 sponsorship fee and $75 processing fee) or include one on an application with your spouse or partner ($150) = $150(per child)
after that click on "pay fees online"
you follow "immigration" = "Pay Immigration Fees" section of paying online if you are sponsoring your spouse.
Click "Spouse, partner, or children" under Family Sponsorship
Choose one of the 3 options = write "1" in the box provided.
Follow payment options.

Hope this helps!

I think the only form you can electronically sign is the Schedule A form (IMM5669) = this is the one you send after your application has been processed through.
All other forms you need in-person sign so unfortunately your spouse will have to resend them. Sorry! I know it's frustrating to wait for them to come in and all.

My husband was getting a new birth certificate made and it wasn't ready when I sent in the application. So we used, 10th certificate, 12th certificate and an affidavit from his parents confirming his date of birth. (I had sent copies of the 10th and 12th, but maybe get them notarized). We have received AOR but still waiting to see if they need additional documents.. so they might ask for birth certificate as they have in the past from people.. so lets see. Will keep you updated.
