Hi everyone, I'm sorry to be a bother here, but I really need the help.
I still have no idea how to reach an operator by calling the CIC at 1-888-242-2100.

I tried to listen to all options but there just isn't one where I could get to an operator because it keeps telling me 0 is not a valid selection.
Could someone, or anyone please tell me what to do to get through?
It's really frustrating and I don't know what to do anymore......

2, 1, 1, 0

It will keep hanging up on you until you get through. Gotta be patient and keep trying.

Thanks, but I tried 2, 1, 1, 0, but it tells me that 0 is not a valid option.
Did you get that when you call?
Nah haven't rang in months though. Either way I guess just go through the menu and expect to have it keep hanging up on you until you get through.

What are you calling to inquire about

I have yet to get an AOR1 and I'd like to ask them about it.
People who have submitted their application around my time has gotten their AOR1 already.

I sent it in on June 20, then they sent me a text message saying they received it on June 22, and after that nothing. =/

Yes, that's frustrating, it's taking up to 8 weeks now though so I'm not surprised.

I hope you can get through.

Every time I call CIC I do 2,1,0 but you have to wait till the automated machine says in order to assist you better please choose the option which suits you the best. Usually it takes 2 mins for automated machine to get there once she is done with parents and grandparents application thing. Generally the max length for wait queue is 30 mins if your wait time is more thn that the automated machine will say that they are busy and call later. If not she will say please wait till we transfer your call to next available agent. Hope this will help you.

Thank you, I hope I'll get through :)

EDIT: I finally got through and they told me my application is being returned last Friday. They don't have the reason why it was returned on the system. Once I get it back I'll update you guys on why it was returned. There goes the wait again, haha...
