Some visa offices ask about passport very early stage of process same like Manila..

Well its Mr. dole1990 a Tanzanian got his/her PPR not mine. Am still waiting.

I think my wife's application, as well, is now under PPR.

She received an e-mail requesting for both police check and Appendix A, the passport request form. I will probably call CIC to confirm that it is, indeed, in that stage. Fingers crossed! Hopefully I'm not mistaken and others get theirs soon as well!

We received the Appendix A request as well. For what it's worth the bottom of the form says "passport request", so I'd be surprised if the application isn't under PPR. I'd be curious to see what the call centre says.

any update? i saw some late May applicants receiving their PPR so i think maybe this week or next week June applicants will received their PPR.

Where exactly did you see it? I think you are just confused yourself and making other folks confused and anxious around here...
Its too early for PPR both for May or June and whoever got it (i saw just one from Nairobi office so far) it is really an outlier rather than the trend.

Im hoping my husband comes by October he is a groomsman in my brothers wedding :s its making me nervous the more time that passes... They seem to be going really fast so hopefully its all good.

Permanent Residence: In process
They recivded my application for permanent residence on June 25, 2015.
Start to process my application on Jun 28.
Medical results have been received.

Maybe for the Manila office...but not for most of the others...

Im telling and sharing what I saw like what I said "MAYBE this week or this coming week" im not confirming exactly this week nor next week. well maybe its too early for your visa office but yes its came from manila visa office May 27 applicant. maybe you should try checking that forum trend so that you can see what im talking about.

It's most likely an outearlier.
Also, Manilla office works in a particular way of asking passport at the very beggining of the process.
Altought, I'm happy they are moving faster than last year.
