If I were you, I would contact the Call Centre. CIC recently updated the processing times on the website and since it says they are working on applications received June 13th, your application is passed normal processing times so they should be able to give you some information!!

My husband, the sponsor, just called the call centre (I called too but they wouldn't tell me anything), the agent was like "you got approved yesterday, they sent it by mail"! And they told him my file had been transfered to the VO as well. We just didn't know about it, I suggest people call too...

It should be the sponsor who calls I think, because I called too and they didn't see any SA on my file.

yes, exactly. CIC will not give information about the sponsor's application to the applicant, only the sponsor will be able to know about SA.

A little unrelated maybe, but how do you guys put the information under your name in your posts? It looks like it's part of your profile...do you have to have so many posts in order to do this? I'm referring to the information like: Landed...(date) etc. etc. to the left of your posts. Thanks!

if you don't have the ability to do it now, post 1 more time. i think there is a 10 post requirement for this, though i'm not 100% sure.

if you click on your name, there is a box on the left that will give you the option to change your forum profile information. I think the heading is "modify profile".

i just called and the agent told me that they are still in the onset of reviewing my application and to give it a week or two!! i don't understand why it's taking this long for my application to get approval. the only good thing is i know my application was received .. now to continue the waiting game ..

from what i understand how "quickly" a sponsor's eligibilty is approved is based on how quickly CIC is able to receive the security/background checks on the individual. there are some instances where information is not supplied very quickly or CIC will need to run deeper checks on something. unfortunately there's no knowing for sure...
