if the principle applicant's package was not included with the sponsors, CIC would send the entire thing back. it is mandatory to send both at the same time, and the sponsor's app will not process without the applicant's package being complete. Misssing or incomplete forms is a top reason for most of the SA delays and for packages to be sent back. so, i doubt that's what the "kit" is referencing. the link provided is from 2009. processing has certainly changed since then.

The application documents were complete for the sponsor and my husband who I'm sponsoring. I guess I'll let you know what they are when they get here.

My husband got letter of SA!!!
He said he will send the files to the governement of Quebec as soon as possible!!
Still 1st step but I'm so happy!!! ;D

the SA letter received will mention which visa office the application is being sent to. for most applicants, it is just assumed it gets there. only a select few visa offices send acknowledgement of receipts that the application has been received.

yes you are the second syndey applicant to say this, so this suggests new syndey applications are being processed in missauga. there is another applicant who got the same information. according to the other member, cic told thm mississauga is helping with syndey overflow. so this seems to suggest this is "normal" for syndey applications now.

i suggest becoming friends with chelcar. i'm sure it's a relief for both you are not alone.

I actually think that CIC just needs to update their online information as the Permanent Resident Kit to my understanding is the Application package we filled out together with the Sponsorship applications and submitted them together. That's what I'm thinking...
