I noticed that my sponsor details were updated to Decision Made (yesterday it was still saying Application Received) even though it was approved on August 5. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone can tell me what this means:

We will send you a Permanent Resident Kit that you will need to forward to the family class relative you are sponsoring.

What's in the Permanent Resident Kit? Anyone?

no idea. that's a new one. never received a "kit".

So... maybe you got an outdated automatic message? or did you not include the PA's forms in your application?

if the principle applicant's package was not included with the sponsors, CIC would send the entire thing back. it is mandatory to send both at the same time, and the sponsor's app will not process without the applicant's package being complete. Misssing or incomplete forms is a top reason for most of the SA delays and for packages to be sent back. so, i doubt that's what the "kit" is referencing. the link provided is from 2009. processing has certainly changed since then.

I was simply making a suggestion based on what I read.
It would be interesting to see if anyone knew what it meant.
