IF it's requested, it can be done anywhere in the world, as long as it's done by a panel physician. remember, CIC has the ability to extend medicals, so it's best not to do anything until it's specifically asked for by CIC.

Thank you RC for quick response my tension is released much more thank you also my visa office is Paris and next month on 13th the time of 8 months will be complete as well I don't know why Paris is taking so long for my case it is one of fastest visa office and my case is pretty straight. Hopefully I will get some news in this month.

Your spouses passport will not be required to get GCMS notes.. its a very simple procedure, have your spouse sign and scan IMM5744E and send it back to you. The sponsor does not have to sign anything either just the applicant. However be sure that you have an undated IMM5744E this way you can add the date yourself and still have the original signed scan to use again if you want to reorder the notes at a later time.

i think it depends what else is requested with the RPRF. it looks like they requested more info from you, so that is possibly why you haven't changed to in process. also *sometimes* when more information is requested, they will wait until AFTER the due date listed on the request before doing anything with the new information. If JUST the RPRF and/or PP are requested, generally IP happens quicker than when other info is requested. For ottawa, in the past, IP means they have everything they need to issue your visa, and DM means it's been mailed out.

I just had a "in process" update to my account last Friday March 20th, says "started processing your application March 17th". Do you have any estimates on how long it will be until I get a "DM" update?? I'm crossing fingers that it's really quick and the mail out happens soon.!
