based on the ottawa spreadsheet and what applicants faced as june 2013 applicants, my hunch is that ottawa is going to start moving again mid-late march. this "down time" *seems* quite "normal" when comparing the processing time to 2013 applicants.

That'd be awesome if it did..really really hope your right!Would love to get my visa before St.patricks day

Does anyone have any idea how long a criminal check should ussually take?

I was told that they are still working on my criminal check,but I chcked the notes i recieved back in November and they say that it was started back then...is it normal for them to take this long?

me too! would be great if everyone started moving along quickly this month! MARCH could be our month !! crossed fingers for June and July applicants. imagine all the people not on the forum who are frustrated too....

I received notes in January 2015 then ordered them again this week.The notes are great source of information but is hard to comprehend. They have not started any criminal checks or security checks and the bring forward date is July 25th 2015 .They have extended our medicals till end of Nov. I have no idea if the July date is when they are going to look at our file again or when it will be completed or its just a reminder. They have also lost my husbands divorce certificate and is looking for the birth certificate for my step son who is 27 and is not coming to Canada as he don't qualify .
They feel our relationship is bona fide and, so no worries there .

I am heading down to my MP office this morning to see if she can forward the paper work so it will not prolong my case any further. I emailed London with the attachments but no reply.

Depends on what V0 office your application is going too.

They take 30 days to receive so order soon make sure you click email and not physical notes.

Hi everyone,

,....... If you check the countdown my brother God wins. I have DECISION MADE for my wife and baby. Early April they are touching down at Montreal Airport.

I applied in June 2014 and all was completed today. 9 months for FAM sponsorship.
